I've been coming here since I was a little kid! I remember walking home from school and stopping here with my friends. I come here now with my fiancé and she fell in love with this place too! Everything is so good here but my favorite is the way they make their elotes. In my opinion this is the best Michoacana in Albuquerque, NM!
So I went here because I am a fan of the TV show Better Call Saul which had several scenes filmed here, but ended up becoming a fan of La Michoacana. Definitely the best chiles rellenos and rice I ever had. The owner told me he makes the chiles rellenos fresh each day and they were not overly heavy with breading as you often find, so the chile flavor could come through. Shop local shoutout to this South Valley treasure! Excellent, yummy (affordable) munches whether you’re craving savory or the sweet stuff.
