The chicken here is excellent. I had the three piece with two sides. The sides were a little pedestrian/green beans were over cooked and mashed potatoes were ok. But if you are hungry for chicken you can't beat this place. It won't be my last stop here.
Let's see now - I'll list the things that were good: the chicken, the catfish, the chicken-fried steak and the sides. The bad? Wait, there wasn't ANYTHING bad in the four meals we got! The portions were good for the price paid (this from someone who remembers 22 cents hamburgers). There was no error in our order and the woman at the checkout was friendly. We WILL return to Ms. Gennie's.

This was our first time here. Food and peach cobbler were good. Service from Demond was excellent. He was very helpful and so nice. We did not feel rushed to order. We will be back.
