Myself, my husband, and my sister in law were in town for a concert, decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner. I made a reservation so we were quickly seated. The drinks were great! We ordered the boudin sausage and fried alligator as an appetizer which came out with our meals. The sausage was terrible! It tasted like tuna fish, we didn't eat it at all.. Both me and my husband both ordered the grilled snapper with red beans and rice, we were not happy at all. The red beans were not seasoned and looked as if they were poured out of a can. My sister in law saw that there was a strand of hair in her salad, which we understand can happen. We have eaten at Pappadeauxs in Dallas and were hoping for the same experience, that was not the case at all. Our bill came out to 264.00 and left so disappointed. We will never return..

I love their crawfish etouffee with dirty rice. It’s very expensive (almost $40), but it’s really really delicious. I stop by almost every time I’m in Albuquerque. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Probably some of the best seafood in New Mexico. It was good and fresh, and although it is pretty pricey, that's to be expected in a desert, after all.

Amazing place!!! I can't make it up! Delicious food, atmosphere is awesome and the staff are friendly. One of the best experiences. The full Shrimp Po boy is a full loaf of French bread and the Pasta Mardi Gras is delicious. You will not go hungry here. In fact get ready for leftovers.

The food we ordered was good service was good also went to the restroom disgusting my husband plate was all bunched up should have a large platterParking: The parking was ok
We were a party of 7 with one child celebrating a birthday sort of impromptu and went to pappadeaux to see if we could have some dinner. The entire restaurant was virtually empty however they refused to give us a table despite the fact that it was quite literally empty. The excuse we were given was that we didn't have a reservation but we could wait an hour to see if they had something opening up now meanwhile there was not a line out the door and no one was showing up to occupy the tables. The host was condescending

Update 3/8/24: something has changed here. The quality was subpar and it has never been like this. The food was overly salty and there was a 3+ inch parasite in the catfish they said was a tendon (it had a black head and didn't agree). She mentioned that they usually clean them better. The potatoes were undercooked, and the gumbo tasted burnt. Only 1 order met expectations. It's likely that we will not come back for a long while. Disappointing.Amazing seared salmon with shrimp on top. The crab cake is the best I've ever had (pictured here). Definitely recommend it! My favorite used to be the crab claws but they don't seem to have them anymore. I found a new favorite to come here for. Only downside is the high cost and when you have an issue they replace the food but do nothing else for the inconvenience (I had to eat alone when my replacement came)
Great food.... but got a little pricey $$
