This place is my new favorite restaurant in ABQ. I went on a Friday mid afternoon and it was packed. One employee was leaving and didn’t take our order before she left, leaving the one employee on her own for the day. She was so overwhelmed and people just kept coming in to purchase goods in the store, so we waited quite a while before it was quiet. This place is a gem! I am from Pennsylvania. My grandparents are immigrants via Poland but my ethnicity is Ukrainian but in the little northeastern corner of Ukraine, Poland, Czech and Slovakia. This was my second time here. I wish I lived closer, I'd visit more often, it is really great! A gem in our city. Today we got two kinds of pierogis (potato/farmer cheese and mushroom/sauerkraut) with onions, which were delicious! The cabbage rolls were also amazing!
