We wanted to try this because it is close to home. We were very disappointed. The fried rice was dry. The sweet and sour pork was way overcooked, the egg roll was chewy and the sweet and sour soup was too sweet and too big of chunks. Can't take a bite without cutting it first.

We came in for dinner. Food was soooo flavorful and fresh! Our service was top tier, and our server was very sweet! I've been a waitress for 15 years and I'm leaving here happy and full! Wifey has been going here for decades, and I have been for about 15 years. We've watched the owner's kids grow up! So far, it is our favorite Chinese place. The owner is so gracious, and we are never disappointed. Her Crab Rangoon is fan-flippin'-tastic! She never skimps on the filling, and they are crispy and delicious! We also like Chicken Chow Mein and Lo Mein and the Kung Pow Chicken. ? The dining room is clean but outdated, but who is complaining?

This little place is a big pleasant surprise! We found it on Google looking for a buffet, which it is not, but the food is sooo good and the prices are so very good, too. I don't live in Albuquerque, but if I did, I'd go here every week!?

I have been going to South China for years now. They have the best Chinese food in Albuquerque. My favorites are the Chicken Chow Mein, beef fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. Their egg drop soup is also the best! I keep trying other Chinese restaurants but no where else compares. South China is the best! And the owner is always friendly and welcoming! I absolutely recommend eating here for great Chinese food!
