One of the first things you see when you walk in are the beautiful vines growing along the ceiling, but if that's not your thing, there is another room you can sit in that is spacious and welcoming. The menu has plenty to choose from including burgers and everything comes out fresh and delicious. These are some of the best chicken tacos I have ever had. Taco Sal has been a staple in Albuquerque. It has changed owners since the early 90’s but the quality is still superb. If you go, ask for the side of Chicarrones trust me, they are the best.

Great inexpensive Mexican food. It's the real deal. Taco Tuesday is unbelievably cheap and good. 4.88 for two tacos and a sopapilla. Movies were shot here. Plus there is a cool comic book store next door and a weird thrift store. And a Korean school! I think it's the most diverse bunch of businesses in town. Oh and an electronics shop.
