We were very disappointed, and wished we read the reviews?we ordered Chicken fries steaks, two huge sizes on each plate, wish they were delicious, but they were NOT, it was heavily coated with very thick batter and soaked in nasty oil and you go to cut it, the whole translucent batter fells off. The mashed potato needed a lot of help, the vegetables, were soaked in oil, too. It was disgusting. Next time we will stick to Christy’s on San Pedro Ave. They know how to season and flavor the best ungreasy Chicken Fried steak, and mashed potatoes to kill for and they serve rolls with it, too, reasonable price.You ask, why didn't we go to Christy’s, we had an appointment in this area. And to try different restaurants, too. Thanks
