I got in to Carlsbad kinda late one night and needed dinner. I wanted to get something kinda quick and to go, but didn’t want fast food.We stopped at Danny’s thinking we’d get just that. Unfortunately we were disappointed. I had a smothered burrito that just wasn’t good. ? The flavors were blah, the beef was weird… I hardly ate any of it.I don’t want to seem like a downer because I know other people enjoy it at Danny’s, I just didn’t.They have done a great job...read full review
Good BBQ and good service. My wife had the hamburger and enjoyed it. I had a two meat plate and my son had the pulled pork sandwich. All good. Particularly loved the sweet bbq-sauce. The french-fries were unique and good stuff. Fried okra was standout.

Went for lunch. The pulled pork was very good and juicy!! The brisket tasted good but was kind of dry and chewy. The mashed potatoes and potato salad both tasted homemade and were both also really good. Loved that we can get to-go cups for drinks! 4 stars for the brisket being dry and no beer. If you're looking to have a drink with your meal there's no alcohol. The service was great!! Also the prices were very reasonable.
