Stopped on a whim. The 5-star reviews are accurate. Tried the wings, chicken on a stick, and burger. The wings were fantastic, fresh, and crispy but not over fried. All the sauces we tried were great e.g., The “Good Stuff” (buttery Italian), lemon pepper (almost like a bbq sauce), mango habanero (sweet with some heat), JD’s (buffalo with an extra kick), and I tried the Volcano sauce which is my new favorite salsa! We were visiting from Austin, doing the spring break thing. We had a hankering for wings and decided to go to Thelma’s. I am so glad we did!!! The wings were delicious!!! Loved the restaurant atmosphere as well. Enjoyed talking with Jimmy, as he is a very nice guy. I wish we could bring this restaurant back home with us ?
Came here with the fam after going to the caverna. Wings are great, well cooked and seasoned to perfection the mango habanero and garlic Parmesan sauces are so good. Ranch is delicious can’t have good wings without good ranch. The chips and salsa were surprisingly great also for a wing place! The burgers were cooked to perfection. Last but not least the service is amazing we felt right at home and we had someone checking on us and they were very friendly and kind to my girls....read full review
