Although on the pricey end, Badlands grill will ensure that your meal is perfect. With a limited schedule on being open, this place serves what other gallup eateries may not have. Ie.. CaliMari. Sure to leave you full with portions sizes being on the "bigger" end but well worth the price.
We stopped for the night in Gallup en route to Phoenix. Based on other reviews, we decided to have dinner at the Badlands Gill, which was a good choice. The restaurant is a welcome, old-school respite. Although some have commented that the prices are high, we worked around that by sharing a rib-eye; for $8 extra, we both had our own soup or salad and starch. Loved the menu so I called to make a reservation. The owner (I think) left his cell phone # on voice mail so I called. Super nice man. Turns out that the place is still closed. My suggestion: call before making plans. The situation is very fluid.
