My boss, co-workers and I were invited to La Fiesta in south Hobbs, NM for lunch with a new vendor on 12/6/2023. This Mexican restaurant has been around long enough for me to remember this is where my senior prom date took is for dinner. Well over 20 years ago. Lol. I'm still not a fan of their salsa, but it's complementary and something to munch on while you wait. The chips are okay. My choice for grub was the #3 chile rellenos ($10.99). It was really good. It's been a long 3 yrs since we last dined La Fiesta, COVID got on the way. But last nite we walked in and immediately the owner recognized us and we're greeted liked long lost friends. The food was surprisingly great, the service and greeting were inspiring.
