Very intimate (small) but quaint restaurant that provided very good Mexican food considering this Las Cruces. Go for the Flauta Plate, Gren Chile Enchilada, or their version of a chicken salad, and you can't go wrong. The staff was nice and cordial. The only reason for the low service score, was they waited until the last minute to inform one of our friends that they ran out of the ingredients needed to make his plate. Delicious food and the staff are always good. I always get the chicken tacos and their chips & salsa are delicious. I tried my toddlers chicken nuggets and those are delicious too.

El Sombrero has always been one of my favorite places to eat! You can always count on tasty food and hot chile.Now they have chocolate sopaipillas stuffed with ice cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce and amazing whipped cream! It's worth going there just for that!
