The first time my group ordered them I was expecting something battered and fried and thought I might have one or two. What came was a mountain of gently sautéed and exquisitely seasoned mushrooms. “Ordered To-Go 30 mins before they closed on a Sunday. When I went in to pick it up, they had a full staff of 5-7 people cleaning extremely well and coordinated. I was greeted promptly and got my order quickly after the pizza was out of the oven.The pizza was fantastic. If you can ace a plain cheese, I can only imagine how good one of their specialty pizzas would be. If they had a location in Phoenix AZ, I know it would become a staple restaurant for my family.“
“Not a single clean table in the restaurant. We have not eaten here for many months. This Dion's has always been good. They were not very busy this time. We had to sit at the least sticky table we could find. Told the guy at the counter about it and he said "Oh. Sorry." Someone came out with a rag as we were clearing our table. “We come here pretty often. We came tonight and they were just so busy. There was an estimated 30 minute wait and people lining up outside. I can't express how efficient, quick, kind and friendly the staff was. We got seated relatively quick. The team updated us frequently, they were honest and said they were full and had catering orders as well but that would get situated promptly. We got our drinks and bread super fast. The food didn't take too long either. Everything tasted so delicious. I absolutely love their tomatoes basil soup. And our picky eater genuinely enjoys the chicken Alfredo. Lauren, Evan and Savanah were so great to us. Huge props to these three for their hustle and amazing customer service. We'll be sure to return soon.“
“Easily in the top 3 for my favorite pizza in Las Cruces. Sauce has a good flavor. The crust is seasoned just right. Toppings appear fresh and were used at a perfect amount to balance the mix. One thing I look out for with pizza in New Mexico is the green chile. It could have been hotter for my taste. However, there was plenty added to the pizza, and it had the great flavor I expect from a New Mexico business. This pizza is at a good price point to make it a usual order. I would like a little crispier bottom of the crust and will be requesting a very slight more cooking time for my next order.The guy working the counter (reciept says Dennis) was very prompt and polite.I had to use Clover to order online, and I'm not really fond of it. For delivery, they use a different online service, and it seemed complicated as well. Of course, there are all the usual delivery apps and slice, but they all raise the prices to high compared to clover or direct with the store.I will definitely be a usual customer at road runner pizza.“

Every time we travel back to Albuquerque, we always stop at the Peter Piper in Las Cruces, it is the best pizza out of all the Peter Piper restaurants we have visited! “So the latest time I ate here was in the 1990s when I was a freshman at NMSU. The food was pretty bad and I had a ton of meals left on my plan at the end of the year from not eating here. I just had lunch here in 2020 while attending a recruiting fair and I’ve got to say I was really impressed.
