Visiting from North Texas in late July and this market is filled with great produce! This time of year at home, we can't find such healthy looking vegetables. All the stands were very popular and you could tell the locals support this market! We enjoyed ourselves.
Just a warning to any visitors--DO NOT BUY A BREAKFAST BURRITO at the market. Better burritos in the frozen section at Dollar General. A shame to sell food to visitors in Santa Fe of such poor quality. Years ago their burritos (though not great) were pretty good. Had one that was probably 50% flour tortilla with boiled potato, some scrambled egg and maybe a half teaspoon of green chili. YUK----

Seed the Future is a wonderful chance to visit and go behind the scenes. First we were fed coffee and delicious donuts from Whos Donuts. Then we visited three vendors who invited us to join them behind their tables where we heard about what they sell and why they sell their products. We left with a free cloth bag loaded with information about their fund raising program and their future plans to expand the market. Worth the trip.
