“The food, as always, was fresh and delicious!!! The lady working was alone, and she was super busy, and had a store full when I walked in for my online order. She was the sweetest, and never lost her cool, and handled it like a pro!! Wish I had caught her name to let her boss know how awesome of an employee she is!!”

“The best steak we have eaten in El Paso. The prices were very reasonable also. Absolutely the best service we have received in any restaurant in El Paso. Very attentive waiters but not bothersome, they were very professional and nice. The decor is outdated but very comfortable. The restaurant remained very pleasant in regard to pace and noise level the entire time we were there and that is a huge plus when dining to enjoy. If anyone has ever been to other steakhouses in and near El Paso, you know what I mean when I say you feel as though you are eating and leaving and unable to relax. At this restaurant, you are dining and relaxing and not being rushed out. What a joy. The owner Mr. Crews himself was present and actively visiting tables to ensure great service. He was so kind and conversed with my husband and I for a bit. What a nice place to unwind and enjoy the great steaks! We will definitely be back.”

“Pretty solid diner. You get that old school feel when you go in. Not too much foot traffic so you get served pretty well and you can watch them make your food. Service is solid as much as it can be. I would only ask that the spanish speaking woman work on her English just a tad more, when I ordered she had to ask her employer what I was asking for from time to time. Other than that, I eat here semi often when I have a flight, as the public airport is right next door.”

I had the 6 mixed... 2 Chile w/ cheese, 2 deshebrada and 2 shrimp...must say the chile w/cheese were a nice surprise and the deshebrada were very good as well... I did like the shrimp too, but there just didn't seem to be enough shrimp... the real highlight of this place, tho, is the salsa bar where you get to pick what you want on your flautas and how much of it! Great spot and definitely recommend! I'll be back for sure!”

“Came to El Paso to visit and we came here we were just looking on google for a place to eat and the food and service were both amazing! Shrimp and grits soooooo good and the cucumber mint nojito was so refreshing! We loved it so much in our 4 day stay we came twice! Got the shrimp and grits again and again amazing! We weren’t a fan of the strawberry pound cake French toast it wasn’t French toast it was just pound cake it wasn’t bad just not what we were looking for. Coffee is strong and flavorful! Leslie our server on the second day was sooo sweet ! She was new and had to ask a few questions and I really liked that she asked instead of giving wrong information. She was attentive and kind, I can’t remember our servers name from the first day we went but she was probably the best server ever! She knew the menu, she was quick, friendly and simply great at her job! The manager was also nice he came to our table when we didn’t like our pound cake and gave no issues about it. I highly recommend this place ! When I go home to the east coast this will definitely be a staple from my trip I will tell my friends and family about”

Walking in, it’s a large welcoming space and you have the freedom to choose wherever you’d like to sit upon entering.Sitting near the bar, the atmosphere was lovely and it appeared most were frequent diners and bar patrons; it was nice to see people chatting, laughing and enjoying their time together.We had great service from this one woman that was polite, welcoming and prompt with her service. I ordered a larger size jalapeño margarita and the salt and pepper rim was an extra perk to this spicy and super delicious drink!!Here’s the one area I was quite disappointed and was expecting so much more, especially because of its legendary status: the food.The food presentation was meticulously prepared, however, once I took a bite into the tostada, the beans lacked flavor and didn’t seem fresh and the rice was a little extra toasty without much flavor. My husband’s plate wasn’t much different and his enchilada looked burned and also was in need of flavor.We’d definitely return for drinks, atmosphere, service, and homemade chips and salsa.”

We had a noon reservation and were able to take advantage of brunch and lunch. We ordered a pastry of the day, which was a blueberry danish. It was warm and flaky, and the filling was authentic and not too sweet. My son ordered the classic breakfast and said the eggs and bacon plus potatoes were delicious. My daughter and I ordered the house salad and the pizza rustica. It was packed with sopressata, pepperoni and sausage and the mozzarella and sauce had a nice balance. The crust was perfectly raised with help from the wood-fired oven. Even my son got in on the pizza. The outdoor seating was the right choice on this beautiful springlike day. They had a great time and enjoyed the food. Service was excellent, and thank goodness I had made an RSVP because the waitress was able to contact me when I left my credit card. ‍”
