“My friend came in from Edmonton and I took her to Trattoria Vesso to eat after being so impressed with the restaurant during my first visit. The city was closed down due to the weather so the server and staff were able to give us a little extra attention to go along with amazing food. I will gladly be going back and taking more friends with me.“

Honestly the first time I tried them was on a whim they have really good specials so I ordered and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pizza . Halifax has set the bar pretty high in pizza ? lol. Anyhow lol The pizza was well priced, fresh , delivered quickly and the ingredients were really fresh , We get pep / mush / gp and its nice portions of everything. “Staff is always polite and friendly. The food is always excellent. They use the perfect amount of cheese so nothing is overly greasy, never overwhelmed with toppings or 99% crust. “Basically got denied service because I have kids. Went with my young kids to eat early 5pm and was told we couldn't eat there. Staff said they were fully booked, but the place was empty. I had looked online earlier in the day and the earliest booking was at 6pm, so figured they wouldn't be too busy at 5pm if we just walked in. We wouldn't have stayed long anyway (maybe an hour), but they still would not accomodate us. I didn't argue with them or make a fuss, but staff were pretty condescending and didn't make me feel great about being there. Unfortunate, because I will likely take my business elsewhere in the future.Update: Decided to go back since the response to my initial review. Have been happy with the service the last couple times. “The best things about this place is its proximity to the base entrance and its price. When staying on base it's convenient to just cross the road and get some pizza, this is probably why they are able to do well in this location.I found that what you get for the price was great. I think it was like $7 for a quarter of a pizza round (that's the slice size) and a can of soda.They usually have one pizza flavour available on the warmer whenever I've passed through here. It's not the top tier pizza but it's definitely tasty and always available.Staff are always friendly and kind, location offers a few tables and seats and is kept tidy. I have never ordered from them, but I do enjoy coming in for a slice and drink. Would recommend visiting.“

We started out months ago by ordering the cheese lovers and all dressed pizzas with garlic fingers but have expanded our options to include their fish and chips and the chicken shawarma plate or poutine. “I have been eating here for years and have never had a bad experience. If anything it just keeps getting better.I consistently get a greek salad and chicken taquitos. But I and friends have had the pizza, burgers, most of the appetizers and everything has always been delicious.The staff are the most fun and friendly I have ever met and always go above and beyond.They have music some nights, a trivia night and they have side room that is open or I am pretty sure can be booked out for private events.It’s my go to place and it should be yours as well!“
