Tonys is a go to when In halifax but it seems you need to either be extremely specific or half build the experience yourself. Ordered a donair pizza was okay, burger onion rings and fries they put the garlic sauce for the burger in a dish for some reason.. no ketchup or utensils for the poutine and onion rings. Was told would be 25 mins to get those things if needed.. they knew we were at a hotel where we don't have those items so paid for a poutine we couldn't eat and onion...read full review
This place deserved an honourary perma-five star review. It’s such an institution that the quality should not be monitored by mere google reviews, but by the government of Halifax itself.My brain is telling me that I wanted a few more veggies but my soul is telling me to trust the masters.

Tony's is a mandatory pilgrimage for anyone visiting Halifax. The donair is award winning for a reason. This place is always busy but you won't wait long because they're really well staffed. Prices are great and the food is even better.
