“Best pizza I have had in years!! I have eaten pizza from numerous places in several provinces. Pizza is my #1 comfort food and I always love trying the delicious pies from new places. This is best I have had from as far back as I can remember. The Roma pizza is an outstanding family fav. The Meat pizza has an exceptional amount of meat (like it should). The garlic fingers are perfect! Thanks for the awesome comfort of good pizza in a small town.”

“Okay, so I was told that this was the place to go in Kingston, so I had to try it out.I was there for the week on a work trip.First time I ordered a donair pizza, which was good, but I should have ordered a bigger size.While I was waiting I saw something on the menu that stirred me into a frenzy.There it was, big and bold.A Steak King.Now, I used to get them at the King of Donair here in Halifax, but I haven't been able to to find me one since King of Donair stopped making the Steak King and decided to call themselves KOD.That's right.They went and got sissified.Now, don't get me wrong. The KOD (pause to spit), still has the best donairs in Halifax, but when they stopped making the Steak King they broke my heart.Well, J&R Pizzeria put a big old greasy bandaid across my poor old broken heart.So I went back the next day and got myself a Steak King.The fellow who ran the place was a nice enough gent. He asked me how I liked that Steak King."Go away," I said. "Me and this Steak King want to be alone together."So I tell you this. There is another pizzeria in Kingston that I had planned to try, but once I saw that Steak King I didn't bother going anywhere else.Next time you pull into Kingston, park yourself handy to J&R Pizzeria and order yourself something good to eat!I guarantee good eating aplenty!”

“Always amazing food, egg rolls made to order and the Singapore Noodles are my favourite (enough for 2-3 people). The owner remembers her customers and always has a smile to share. While they are take-out only, every visit makes my day brighter !”

“By far my favourite Nova Scotia cider. Love the farmhouse style of some of the ciders, certainly not overwhelming, but more layered and complex than many other quality NS ciders. Worth trying it wherever available, I just order some online and the customer service is also top notch.”

I, for one, will not be able to enjoy another pizza unless it’s from here. I also want to highlight that the service is excellent! “Typical Chinese restaurant, with Chinese music and decor. Food was good and so were prices. Found it odd, though, that could get small containers for our take home leftovers but would be charged .50 if we wanted a large one to put everything together. We took 2 small ones.”

“I heard from a little birdie that the chicken Bacon ranch mac and cheese was the most finger licking good thing they had ever had. By golly were they correct. I super scarffed that thing down my greasy gullet as fast as I could. I asked for extra extra ranch, as I was recommended to do. The ranch was ooey gooey and super yummy. I slurmped it up with such strength and animosity. I brought my 56 year old dad who hated me as a child and he absolutely loved the steak sandwich. I love you oaken barrel you make me complete again. “King Size Pizza is a wonderful contribution to our town Middleton, Sam and Doris the owners are lovely people , friendly, honest, caring hard working people, they are always friendly and so helpful to my 2 children and myself, I gotten to know them a lot over the years , they have been here since I was pregnant with my oldest and have seen them grow up! They have wonderful kids whom help with there family business, they have great sized portions for their food servings and a great variety to choose from, please if you have not been here you should definitely give it a try you won’t be disappointed!!Kid-friendliness: Always been wonderful to my kids , they always go over and above to satisfy their customers.”

“Best Chinese Food we have found so far in the area. Food is cooked perfectly and is very tasty. Eggroll/Spring-roll filling is different than most other places, but I enjoy it. Deep fried prawns always cooked perfectly. Lots of combos available to choose from. Portions are a good size, and we always have some leftover. Good prices. We keep coming back, and so far, the food is always consistent.”

“Was never a big scoop patron. Did not care for the food there before the new owner took over. New menu has lots of choices, variety. Lots of daily specials, deserts, etc. I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes if my food is going to be worth it. New owner and his team work hard. That place is always booming with cars, ATVs etc. I will promote this business every time that I can! Never disappointed with quality of food or service!”
