Okay, honest review. I tried making a reservation. The automated system when I phoned led to an answering machine. Shortly after, I received a text asking for details abt the reservation. I sent it off hoping for the best. I received another text from a different number saying "Unfortunately, we close our reservations for tonight. we recommend you make your reservation in advance. And you are welcome as a walk-in." It was a Sunday evening and we took our chances as a walk-in, but I was skeptical to go because of the text message. Who wants to drive across town with an infant only to be turned away?!That being said, we took our chances at 7:30 pm and there were lots of tables open and 3 tables filled. We were celebrating a birthday, so we were lucky we took the chance.Our server was super friendly and professional, and patient with our little one. He even grabbed us a high chair. The staff also made a special birthday cocktail which was nice.The food was top notch. I enjoyed the steak, while my wife enjoyed the pizza. (Our little one also enjoyed the pizza and sweet potato fries with balsamic glaze!). The atmosphere was perfect for a birthday, and the food matched the scene.If I had anything negative to say, it would be that the pricing was a little steep. I understand inflation, and I do work in the food industry, but with tip for Steak, Pizza, Fries, and one cocktail came to $127. It's a birthday and I could justify it, but it wouldn't be my first choice compared to other restaurants in Yellowknife based on price and quality.Overall a positive experience!If my review helps please leave a ? We held a work meeting here in the back room. There was roughly about 27 people. We had a very quiet private space for the most part. Meeting went off without a hitch. We had a three-course meal which was quite excellent. The service was fantastic as usual. Everything went quickly. Our meeting last 3 hours. We went slightly over the closing time but there was no pressure by managers or staff for us to get out of the restaurant. Very professional.

Very delicious, first-class service, comfortable decoration. The burgers, pizza, salads and steaks were all delicious. We changed the fries to sweet potato fries, which were delicious with garlic sauce.Parking: Bus B is at the door

The ambience is very inviting and romantic.The food was okay. They have lots of vegetarian dishes, and signature dishes.We ordered the lamb shack, and the blackened whitefish with Caesar salad and roasted baby potatoes as a side. The potatoes tasted very old and funky, they were definitely not what they should have been. When mentioned to the server, she said she would let the kitchen know - no apologies or making up for it which was a bit disappointing considering the quality the restaurant should offer.

About 10 minutes by taxi from Hotel Explorer.The interior of the store is spacious and open, and has a calm atmosphere with slightly dim lighting.Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal.As for drinks, you can order house wine white, rosé, red, and glass, and there are more than three types, so you can enjoy it in a way that suits your meal and mood.There was also a good selection of beer❣️I ordered Yellowknife's local beer pale ale. It was very delicious.The food was of course delicious, and this time I ordered the restaurant's recommended Mexican chorizo pappardelle (thick pasta topped with spicy chorizo, olives, and chicken in a cream sauce base) and grilled great Slave lake fish. All were delicious.The staff were friendly and provided good service, and my husband and I were able to enjoy a good meal.The price is about CAD 190 for 3 beers, soft drinks, clam chowder, buffalo chicken, and both entrees.Why not stop by when you come to Yellowknife?

Lovely decor. The food was good, not amazing. The atmosphere and the prices speak to a desire for the restaurant to perhaps be a little 'fancier' than they manage. The services was pleasant, however there were 4 of us, and they brought 2 of us the completely incorrect meal.The spice cake is amazing with ice cream though! Well worth waiting for it to arrive at your table!

Great lamb shank and sweet potato fries. I have a fairly bad allergy to dairy and the staff were really helpful at making sure I could eat everything safely. Servers were also really friendly and fast. Should be closer to 5* on Maps than it is, recommended.

The buffet menu wasnt worth the price of 89 per person. Paid over 200 on new years when i couldve had a better plate and experience at boston pizza:/ gf did not finish her plate ?. I love the atmosphere but service and food could be much better.
