So I gotta give this place five stars for the food and the quality. The atmospheres is great as well however be prepared for the staff to charge you for not eating all of your all you can eat orders and when I say they’re gonna charge you for any thing left on the plate, dont leave anything…Our most recent experience will actually have me never go back to this restaurant ever again. We literally left two dollars worth of food on the plate and they wanted to charge us a fee for not finishing our all you can eat when we ordered close to $100 worth of food. When you would compare what we ordered to the à la cart prices this is shameful and it gets real old that a lot of these restaurants in Carson City try to act like they’re high end restaurants in big cities. A lot of the Carson City establishments need to remember that their main source of income is the people that live there. Carson City is not the largest tourist attraction.

5 food service people just standing around; but no one wanted to be of service, was the worst place I have ever been for sushi, tried again after a previous terrible experience, spend your money somewhere else!

The food was good as always, and they even have a kids menu. Service was great and friendly.Kid-friendliness: My son had their mini corndogs, which were actually Little Smokies dipped in Tempura batter and then fried, and he loved them.

It's probably one of the best sushi places in Carson City. They do try to balance the availability of tables to the service staff, so service doesn't suffer when they are busy.

Decent all you can eat sushi spot. They do limit some items to one per person and they don't specify those on the menu. Unfortunately that includes spider roll (soft shell crab).Otherwise $33 for dinner, which isn't bad for the quality of the food and the amount of food.

Stopped by when we were in town, We really enjoyed this place. The staff was super friendly and courteous. The food was delicious, the yellowtail was not as fresh as everything else. Will visit again next time we are in town.

I had no idea this place was here - from the outside, it looks like just a hole in the wall - and I'm delighted to have stumbled across it. Don't be fooled by the outside: once you enter, the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The food is delicious (try the Kei tuna). The service is friendly, fast, and professional.Vegetarian options: I'm a gluten-free pescatarian, and I was thrilled with the variety of foods I can eat at Kei!Dietary restrictions: I'm a gluten-free pescatarian, and I was thrilled with the variety of foods I can eat at Kei!
Arrived with a mostly empty restaurant and a completely empty bar and was told we had a 15min wait to sit at the bar by the hostess. Reason given was they needed catch up with the tables. This excuse was not supported by the people behind the bar.

Very good sushi, they have all you can eat. Limited selection, no uni or such, but salmon and tunas are excellent. A must try.
