Terrible, made a reservation and OpenTable didn't tell us that the business was closed/bankrupt. It was our 10th anniversary and totally ruined the night. Trying to find another restaurant to host our 10th anniversary on a Friday night at 6 PM was near impossible. I will never trust OpenTable again

My Experience was horrible, as I had made a reservation for a table at 5:30 pm... Took a $40 cab ride to the location...When we arrived m, there was a sign on the door stating they had not paid their rent, and the restaurant was closed!!!?... Why did they accept my reservation (made earlier this same day) since they were knowingly closed! ?

This restaurant is closed for business. Don’t make reservations online.

I'd read that Bella Vita was not renewing their lease. I was going out with friends so made the reservation on Open Table, figuring we better go there one last time. It was locked and closed! So we were left scrambling for a place to go and ended up and Echo and Rig. NO deals there! You need to take this restaurant off your website.

Location is apparently closed permanently according to a note taped to the front door. It would have been nice to know that before going. It should be noted on the website and in the OpenTable app.

The restaurant was closed when we arrived. There was a sign posted on the door that they were no longer in business. But very frustrated that Open Table allowed me to book a reservation there, I paid for a ride to get there, only to find that they were permanently closed when I was standing in front of the locked door. Then when I tried to go into the Open Table app to cancel the reservation so I could book a new reservation somewhere else, it would not allow me to do that, said I had to call the customer service number, but then no one answered at that number. Bummed that Bella Vita is permanently closed - k always enjoyed dining there. An overall frustrating experience that night.

So glad they are shutting down. The owner is a terrible person. He doesn't pay his employees. He's being sued left and right. Good

Last evening seven of us dined at Bella Vita at The District in Henderson. When ordering we were told several of our wine requests were not available and also that our meal choices were likewise not available. There was very limited by the glass choice. I made a comment to our server who said, “yes, it has been a very difficult day.” One friend ordered a $40 bottle of wine only to be told it was not available and was told what could be offered instead. He agreed, but was later flabbergasted to find he was still charged $40 for a bottle not on their wine list and available at The Wine Store for far less than one-third the cost. He spoke with the server and she said after consulting the manager that the charge would stand. Another of our companions spoke with the manager about this before we left and the manager gave a $10 bottle of Merlot to appease us.In the end we did not have a great dining experience. Our time with friends was not ruined because we had an enjoyable evening being together, but this was in no way thanks to being at Bella Vita. Our server was pleasant, but inattentive and our food was average. I was never asked if I wanted another glass of wine and we were not approached about ordering dessert, which I would like to have had. The restaurant was hardly busy, so we were unsure of the reason for this. In fact we had to find her to ask for a check. Perhaps she is new to this job.The lack of menu items and information about the wine issue cannot be overlooked. When an establishment has doors open for business, one expects offered services and menu items to be available. Of course there will be circumstances when an item on the menu cannot be ordered for a myriad of reasons, but more than one or two or three items the same day? Not acceptable. At least let us know ahead of ordering. Our server’s lack of generally accepted practices? Not acceptable. Keep the diners informed and routinely check for drink orders and food questions. Anything less when charging $32 for very average meals certainly earns this review and does not warrant a return visit.Macaroni Grill serves better chicken piccata with pasta that is not hard and dry. This by far is not the best Italian restaurant in the city. So discouraging for all for a restaurant with such a lovely location and decent atmosphere. I’m sorry not to be able to recommend Bella Vita.

We went to Bella Vita for my birthday to do something other than the chain restaurants. This was our first mistake because the food was worse than any chain and cost more. I ordered the Chicken Piccata and not only was the chicken not seasoned but looked pale and undercooked. The pasta was dry and undercooked and the ingredients that make a piccata, a piccata were not included. The chicken was not lightly floured and browned and the lemon sauce did not have capers. It was bland, flavorless and tough. My husband got the linguine with clams with the white sauce and he was not pleased with his dish. Our server was good, but that was about the best part of the visit. The greeter at the door was hard to understand and we, along with other guests had to ask her several times to repeat herself. Perhaps not the best person as the first person you meet. The meal was bad and the price high for such a poorly made dish. Neither me, nor my husband finished the dish. Do not go here as there are better italian restaurants. Heck, Olive Garden is better than this. To cap it off as we walked out of the restaurant there was a protester with a sign that said "Bella Vita does not pay their employees." Another reason to not go to this restaurant.

If you think this place is good, you don't know good Italian food. Within 5 miles are many Italian restaurants with similar prices that make homemade pasta. This place does not. Why go here when you can get

I'd been hearing that the food was good here, so with a friend back in town we made a lunch reservation for a Friday. The place was empty except for one other party, so I was a little worried. However, the bartender greeted me and the (new) hostess at the door and the service from that point on was top notch. We were told it was under new management, but being first timers we wouldn't have known the difference. The fruiti di mare and the branzino were wonderful, as well as our cocktails. We will definitely be back.

Just ok. Wouldn't rush back. They have awards on their walls from multiple years ago and I'm guessing they've dropped in the ranks since.

Very weak. Easy to understand why their other two stores have closed. Was quite good years ago but not any longer.

Slightly noisy but nice atmosphere. Some less traditional Italian dishes. Food arrived just warm. Very tasty. Prices seemed ok. Service was slightly lacking, like our waiter had too many tables to take care of.
