“Located in a small and cozy space. I love the mix of real and fake plants that give you a earthy warm welcome. The food was so flavorful and fresh. Some set backs though, we were brought food we didn’t order and we’re charged for it. They reimbursed the mistake. Informed the server of a food allergy and was assured that the food was non seafood/fish prepared. When we received the food there were shrimp shells in the soup, not expected from us or the server and no it was not part of the meal. The food was removed immediately. Was not offered to have it remade or to have something else in its place but it was on the bill at check out. Had to address the mistakes and they quickly took care of it. The restroom is a shared gender, but was not recently cleaned and there were no toilet seat covers. Shoe prints on the toilet seat could of been prevented. Overall everything was amazing and will definitely give them another chance and recommend to others.“

“My friend from Dallas and I visited Tru Bru in Henderson exactly 2 years ago. We stopped in for coffee and discovered we loved the place. We had coffee and the chocolate chip banana bread and both were very good. We went back a couple days later and enjoyed the same treats.My friend has been thinking about that chocolate chip banana bread for two years! We finally made it back twice this week!My drip coffee with cream was even better than we remembered. I'd say it was one of the best cups I've had in a loooong time. My friend really enjoyed her decaf oat milk latte. Of course we had to have the chocolate chip banana bread. It did not disappoint. We also tried the blueberry scone. Next time I'd get it heated up.The second time we stopped by I met Andy, the coffee roaster. We chatted for about 5 minutes and had a lovely conversation. I was shocked to see how small the SMALL was! My friend ordered a large for about $10 and about 14 -16oz? Too pricey for regular visits these days. Service was ok and atmosphere was relaxing. Lots of folks in there working on their laptops. Didn't see them having much to eat or drink. Maybe a cup of coffee, which seems more than fair in order to sit in a pretty place, and use the wifi. “I love coming here when I visit my family. The coffee is some of the best I have had. I only get it to go, so I cannot speak to the ambiance as much but it is super cute inside. The service has all been really great, and the baristas have all been helpful and nice. Highly recommend stopping by. My only issue is that they use a plastic style cup, with a plastic top and 'a plastic drink stopper. While it does not melt, I can't help but think of ingesting micro plastics. I will bring my own cup next time, and really hope they consider switching to a more sustainable option if possible.“

“I live in the far Northwest part of Las Vegas, therefore, traveling to the Henderson area is a bit of an adventure/road trip. My family and I received a gift to The Coffee Press from our outstanding Realtor and decided to finally redeem it on 30 Mar 2024 because we were in the vicinity that day (~2:30 pm). I was a little taken back on the idea that this coffee shop was located adjacent to a public library. Not that it's a bad thing, but you don't normally see coffee shops located this way [normally they're within a (strip)mall, plaza, stand-alone building, or inside a major grocery store/department store]. Regardless, this coffee shop was phenomenal and now I wish all coffee shops were co-located this way because it was nice and quiet...even though there's only a limited amount of libraries in this country.When we walked in, we were greeted very nicely by the employee up front. The employee who greeted us also took our order (I think her name is Jessie, based on the receipt). Since this was our first time visiting this coffee shop, it took us a little bit to decide what we wanted to order since there were a lot of things grabbing our attention. However, "Jessie" was extremely patient, especially with me since I was taking forever to decide and asking a lot of questions...for this, I am grateful for her customer service skills.My family and I ordered the Brewed Coffee, Agave Latte, Matcha Latte, Orange Cranberry Scone, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, and Espresso Chocolate Cookie. Since 2017, I have slowly transitioned myself toward consuming more black coffee versus having "coffee with my cream and sugar." However, once in a while I like to experience different "foo-foo" type drinks from new places and I'm glad I did too - the Agave Latte was hands-down in my Top-3 Lattes I have ever consumed in my life. My Latte wasn't excessively sweet like you would get at those major franchise coffee shops, which I can appreciate. As far as the cookies and the scone....let me tell you, they were fantastic!Overall, I really enjoyed my time here; between the quality of the goods, reasonable prices, and their extraordinary service, I highly recommend this place to everyone. “I was driving by and noticed there was a Boba place so I stopped in to get a smoothie with some Boba. I didn't care for their decor but it's not like you're hanging out in there either. I'm over driving by again. I'll probably stop.“

I do absolutely love that they're the "third place" outside of home and work, but I think they're leaning too hard into that in order to inflate their prices. It would be awesome if they were both the "third place" as well as had more reasonable prices.Dietary restrictions: I have IBS, SIBO, am partially lactose intolerant, gluten sensitive, and allergic to fructose. I typically struggle to find food / beverages everywhere else, but I have plenty of options to choose from that my tummy and I can agree on.Parking: Great parking in front and around back. One of the only Starbucks I've found whose drive-thru doesn't connect to the rest of the parking lot. Once you pull in to the front side, you either park or go to the drive-thru. If you don't want to deal with the drive-thru line with that side of the parking lot, there is always the back side of the building that doesn't have anything to do with the sometimes extra long line of their drive-thru.Wheelchair accessibility: I saw there were very large ramps going up into the main entrance of the front parking lot.“
