Actual authentic Italian food. The pasta is fresh made. The spaghetti vongole was amazing, the vegetarian eggplant rollatini was also great. The broccoli rabe was was cooked perfectly, just needed a bit more garlic. The Parmesan risotto was awesome. The tiramisù was incredible, as was the crème brûlée.

A great Italian place for a family, highly recommend. Service is great and very accommodating.
I will be totally honest.......the food just doesn't measure up like it use to. I ate there twice this week and felt badly that I will cross them off my local eatery list. I had Ossobuco and the risotta tasted like a chemical or plastic....it was odd. The meat was good, not great, and I had two tiny little root vegetable pieces (carrots) - size of a dime. The pasta I had the prior evening was so underwhelming that I was about to ask for garlic on the side..........I feel bad writing this review, but hopefully they take some feedback and get folks back to this great local spot.

The food was great as always. The only complaint or issue we had was there were so many specials available the night we ate there we had a hard time remembering them all. But having a large amount of delicious options id a good problem to have. I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends who visit the Las Vegas area and try to dine here myself every time I am in town. This is by far the best Italian restaurant I have been to in the Las Vegas area

Fabulous restaurant! Beautifully appointed, yet casual atmosphere. Wait staff is friendly, prompt, and helpful. Food is creative and superbly prepared. Moderately priced. A delightful dining experience.

We waited to be seated as the hostess was chatting with someone at the bar. There is no one at that bar that is important enough to ignore a couple for three minutes. We are going to take a break from this restaurant for a while. Hopefully, service improves upon our return.

Well... I like Gaetano's restaurant and go there often. Obviously, Valentine's Day was not the right time to dine. It was too noisy, too crowded, and relatively uncomfortable. Our waiter, Austin, was very good and without him the experience would have kept us away for a while. I simply think the restaurant over did their capacity to handle diners correctly. The lamb chops were tasty, but tough. The sole was mushy. It was, after all, Valentine's Day so we didn't complain on the spot. They were too busy to care.
I have been regularly going to Gaetano's for dinner over the last 15 years. Nick is the owner and runs the restaurant with precision. Attention to detail is his Mantra. The food is always delicious and I have never been disappointed. The service is attentive and everyone is extremely friendly. One can tell when employees are happy and they are very happy here with Nick. I cannot recommend anywhere else that even comes close !

This is the best Italian restaurant in the Las Vegas area. We are locals and dine here regularly. Nick, the owner, is constantly innovating; adding new dishes and expanding the excellent (and reasonable) wine list. The service is impeccable and the authentic regional cuisine is delicious. Our favorites include veal Marsala, Dover sole, lasagna, and any of the homemade pastas, with a special emphasis on the Roman classics, carbonara and cacio e pepe. In our opinion these classic dishes rival those we have enjoyed in Rome!

Wonderful staff! The food was excellent and the music level was perfect. We could hear one another while also recognizing the music that was on. But back to the best part, the service, our waiter was just the best. He chose the perfect wine for my wife's meal and chose a perfect dessert for her birthday before she chose. This place is wonderful, romantic, and the food is delicious.
