Note to vegetarians, the beans are made with Manteca, or pig fat. We found out as we were served bean and cheese pupusas, but the lovely waiter helped take care of us and offered refund, or replacement with other items. She helped speedily and the food was delicious. Small note on the cheese only pupusas, it's incredibly chewy/rubbery on its own, definitely should get it mixed with something so it's not hard to eat. Flavorful but difficult to eat.
It's a no-frills pupusa place. Plenty of Mexican plates also. I had the salmon plate with handmade corn tortilla ( these are thick,) delicious.Didn't try any of the Aguas. And you all should stick to just water too. Jk

If you’re looking for authentic Salvadoran pupusas, this is the spot. Heads up, the servers speak spanish. The vibes at the restaurant are pretty chill, if you’re looking for a fast pace, trendy spot, this isn’t it. The food totally compensated for the atmosphere. They serve Salvadoran and Mexican food, we went for the pupusas so can’t speak on the Mexican food but definitely recommend.
