Super delicious food with excellent service. The waiter also knew Spanish and that made us feel more comfortable. The cream brûlée 10/10. I will be

Took long to get food, 1 steak overcooked then had to wait for it. Second drink order was lost and delivered late, 2 people ant our table were never asked for refills. It was our 45th wedding anniversary and they did have anything at the table to recognize it and gave us 1 super little dessert. Didn't like being seated across from a bar with the hockey game on. For spending almost $500 for 4 adults we expected a bit more attention and atmosphere for our celebration.

Overall and excellent experience. Service was outstanding and the attention to the table was perfect. Our Shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque and Bone in-Ribeye share was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back again!

Usually easy to get reservations or just walk-in. I'm very happy to have a comfortable but nicely appointed steakhouse close to home that serves a great meal every time at reasonable prices. Last night was Scallops for me, lobster for my wife, crab legs for my sister-in-law (which she raved about) and a couple of very tasty sides. I also started with their steakhouse salad. All in all a great meal at a reasonable price with very good service thanks to Miguel and a nice setting to enjoy it in.

We've been going to the Charcoal Room at the Santa Fe Hotel/Casino since it opened 25 plus years ago. The ambiance is fabulous, the service and food is always excellent and we love having this special place to go to celebrate birthday's, anniversaries, friends and family. We highly recommend the Charcoal Room.

We stayed until 9pm finishing our drinks. They started cleaning around us and clearly wanted us to leave. By 9:05 we just left because they clearly wanted to close. Don't think that was very cool.
Came here for a belated Valentine's dinner with my girlfriend. It was our first time here, and our server, Justin, did a great job of walking us through the menu along with making recommendations. He truly made the experience better, along with his back-server, Gabriel. Thank you guys for your great service. We will definitely be back!

We made reservation for 815pm , we did not get our food til 939pm. The manager was giving excuse why our food took so long. Her excuse was so bad that you can tell how bad she was lieing. Even the table next to us was irrated that the food took so long. One of the excuse was the lamp chop took a while longer because it was so thick. I took a picture of it...really??? $138 later, food was bad! The whole experience as bad, it used to be a great a place to eat! The manager there need to do her education and not lie to her customers.

Husband made a reservation for 8:30 and we got there and managed to get seated at that time which seemed like we were off to a great start. We sat down and ordered within five minutes (no later than 8:35) and we sat down and enjoyed our complimentary bread. The issue started when it hit 9:15 and we were wondering where our food was. We thought the tables to our right and left were finishing up and therefore didn’t have food in front of them anymore. It wasn’t until the table to the right of us started asking for the manager where their food was that my husband and I realized we were bound to wait even longer. The manager had said that food was taking a long time because it was a busy night and the wait time was supposed to be around 30 minutes. However, this was a lie because our food didn’t arrive until 9:35! We ended up getting our food before the table next to us that was there before us and it was completely unacceptable! I understand it’s Valentines night but last year we went to Echo and Rig and there was no wait time issue. The steaks were decent. The sides are definitely not worth it (mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese). Take this review with a grain of salt since it was a busy night but we don’t plan on coming back here at all.

The server was horrible. We were going to have an anniversary dinner and we have been to the Charcoal Room before. After sitting we had to wait even to get water. The guy was not interested in us at all. We spent $170 and rushed to leave. We won't be returning. They couldn't even cook a filet properly
The restaurant itself is very nice, great ambiance. The wait staff is very nice and friendly, also quite attentive. I ordered a rib steak to be cooked between medium and medium well, it was very rare and it had a lot of fat. I didn't enjoy, I took it home so I could cook it to my liking. The side dishes were good.

We celebrated Valentines Day a couple days late and what a nice surprise...Santa Fe has refreshed their hotel with a cleaner, brighter and newer feel inside. I must kindly disagree with some of these negative reviews,... We ordered oysters and shrimp cocktail to start and it was fresh and delicious. We had the ribeye with loaded baked potato, corn and mushrooms and they were all cooked perfectly. We are regulars at Red Rock Casino and found this location a pleasant alternative...staff is friendly and on point from the minute you walk in...Great Job!

We set a reservation for a late Valentines dinner due to business travel. Although my request was responded to back via OpenTable via the restaurant, the hostess had no idea. They don't explain that to participate in Happy Hour you are required to dine at the bar. All that's noted online is HH is until 7pm (reason why we came early prior to our reservation). Although the Bartender wasn't accommodating at first, since our first table option was too tight (first booth table across from bar, & this one table doesn't slide out at all) we had no choice to wait at the bar for another open booth in the back room (my original request for a quaint table in the back). At this point since we ordered a HH appetizer, we were able to order HH select drinks. My Old Fashion was a good drink at the HH price point, but my wife's HH martini was undrinkable & had to be returned (which the at least accommodated). The artichoke spinach dip app was the best dish of the expensive meal (although it was much better spread on the bread from the bread basket at our table, once it finally arrived). I originally planned to have the Ribeye steak & scampi, wife was going to order the fillet, but we decided to go with the $155 Porterhouse & Lobster Tail special based off the servers recommendation. For a steakhouse that was recommended (we usually go to MRKT at Aliante) the dinner was very disappointing. Steak had zero flavor that you'd expect from such a prime cut, lobster was tough & over cooked, while the Mac & Cheese which looked amazing via the online photos was not at all bubbly, creamy, & cheesy as advertised (one of the sides that appealed us). Wife didn't even eat her filet that I cut off the Porterhouse since it was the final strike & she was over it at that point (& she's pretty easy going). But after a poor drink, French onion soup that underdelivered (one of her favs), & the burnt potato side (that we had to just send back), plus underwhelming Mac. We tried but don't plan to return.

We were seated at 8:20. We finished our salads and bread at 8:50. We then waited 35 minutes for our dinner. The food was great, the wait was in very poor taste. Pardon the pun. The wait staff avoided us during this time.

We had a terrible experience on Valentine's day. We got seated and had drinks quickly, but after we placed our order, spent an hour waiting for food. Never once did anyone check back with us until we were already discussing how to leave gracefully. Food came, we complained to a manger that offered us free drinks; however, we did not want to spend another minute there. I paid for the drinks and appetizers only, and they kindly boxed up the food for us to go.
