“The food was good, hot and tasty! The young man was professional, friendly and courteous. However he was the only person I saw working. It took 30 minuets for my order. He was making drinks, taking orders and think he was also cooking? He remained professional and curteous. GREAT JOB TYSON!?“

“This was by far the best Orange Julius/Dairy Queen I've ever been to and sadly - the highlight of the Excalibur hotel. It was really good and I don't know why but every time we passed by or stopped for something there was always only one girl working the whole huge setup. They really needed two at a time at least but I'll give the ladies credit because they were fast and presentation didn't suffer at all. So good and highly recommend.“

“Used to be a so-so place, it was hours of waiting UNTIL recently! Omg! This place changed completely! One of the workers, I believe the manager, basically runs the place! She is the one who is the loudest there and I don’t know where she gets her energy from but OMG she makes sure every order comes out within 3 min! I was literally in and out with the wonderful ice cream in like 5 min! She is an African American woman in her 30 s I believe and if she is not the manager yet she DEFINITELY should be! Thank you!“

“I admit to having a soft spot for DQ/Orange Julius. These two titans of “cool treats” were staples growing up. Whenever I’d travel to the big city with the family, if we came across one of these in the mall, it was a proverbial “must stop.” Whether it was DQ with their soft serve (and the curl at the top!), or Orange Julius with their frothy beverages, it was a welcomed treat. Indeed, because of such memories I’m still occasionally pulled towards this dynamic duo for a refreshing beverage or ice cream. That’s exactly what happened on a recent visit to the Las Vegas South Premium Outlet shops. The folks and I were out and about, exploring the South Premium Outlet mall in search of some Christmas presents. In the past, we would’ve patronized the Boulevard Mall but it’s sadly become a shell of itself in recent years, especially after losing its key anchor tenants in the form of JC Penny, Macy’s and Sears. We’d managed to find some good deals and were in the process of winding down our shopping excursion. It was at this point that I spied the DQ/Orange Julius signage in the food court area. I wasn’t particularly hungry, but was rather thirsty. The solution? A classic, frosty Orange Julius! Because of the late hour (just after 7PM), there was no line and I received my Orange Julius in good time. It was just as I’d remembered – refreshing, frothy, light and tasted distinctly like a creamsicle. Delicious! FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 5/5 RECOMMENDATION: The classics never go out of style. If you’re cruising the South Premium Outlet shops and find yourself wishing for a sweet treat, the DQ/Orange Julius duo is the perfect stop to satiate any appetite. “This location has some of the most customer service-oriented employees across the board. My experiences have all been via the drive-thru, and the employees ensure they get your order correct with smiling faces. I typically order the Honey Barbeque Glazed Chicken strip basket with fries and buttery toast.The buttery toast at this location tastes scrumptious! The bread is soft, and every time I take a bite, the butter shoots into the inside of my cheek. Whatever they are doing should be taught to other Dairy Queen restaurants because I ordered the Glazed Chicken Strip basket at a different location in North Las Vegas, and the bread wasn't as soft and buttery at this restaurant. The bread is so good that I have routinely substituted fries for an extra toast, and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend eating the toast immediately, because if you let it cool, it's not as good.The Glazed Chicken strips are tasty as well!“

“Tried a small caramel sundae with nuts. Yum. Definitely satiated the ice cream craving. Was the perfect size not too much, just right. Service was friendly, fast. It was really cold inside so ate it outside. However there is no outside seating.“

“My good friends and I stopped in at this DQ for the first time yesterday and we were certainly happy we did. Their ice cream and shakes are always special treats, but the food was also really good.The best part, however was the excellent employees: particularly Cassandra the cashier. She could write a training guide for how to provide great customer service. She was pleasant, helpful, very friendly and was on top of the entire order, even offering suggestions. When we didn't have any cash to tip her (DQ really needs to allow you to leave tips on the credit card) she was more than gracious and appreciative that we were thinking of her. We will definitely make up for that oversight the next time we are there.It is terrific employees like Cassandra who keep loyal customers coming back for more. She has made three more repeat diners for this DQ. They are lucky to have her.“

“Sometimes a Delicious Banana Split is a nice way to end a week. DQ has the best Banana Splits in town! It's decadent, yet it has Bananas so it had to be Healthy! The Chicken Fingers and Fries at DQ are a nice lunch combo. “So pleasantly surprised with this Dairy queen. Clean and spacious. Came in on a weekday with my toddler because I promised him a treat and it was just us the entire time. This $7 meal deal they have blew my mind. The chicken fingers were yummy, fries were crispy. We got a medium drink and a ice cream for SEVEN dollars!? In this economy, that's just amazing.Staff was friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: Tables were clean. They had lots of high chairs. “My husband and I got dairy queen tonight and it was fabulous! I am high risk for covid-19 and ordering delivery is always stress-inducing. I am happy to tell you that dairy queen did an excellent job of sealing our food safely! That always makes my day. I love when businesses care enough about my health to get food to me safely!!!!! I got a candy cane blizzard which is so good that it could easily be addictive! My husband got reese's blizzard that he raved about. He also ate too much and got a small tummy ache! Yes, these desserts were that good! I highly recommend dairy queen (even though it's winter!)“

“I was bit of scared to go in this location after all the reviews. But it is 116 F out here. I need a ice cream. The young lady that took our order, she was very sweet, not only she took our order professionally with a smile, but she also walk over the counter and hand the order to me in person. I never had such nice service in fast food restaurant before. My husband asked her few questions about the new blazers ingredients, she answered with a smile. I should asked for her name. But I forgot. She is young African American girl with glasses. Super nice We love our sundae and blazer. Place is very clean, as always, I check the bathroom, it is clean as well. Definitely will go back again.“

“Our blizzards were delicious. The service.... eh. My son and I went in to get blizzards to take home for the family. They took our order, took our money and we waited while they made our order. It wasnt busy, so that didn't take long. There was only two girls sitting at a table eating their ice creams. They bring over the four blizzards, turn them over to show how the ice cream treat seems to magically defy gravity, and then set them on the counter and walk away to take the next persons order. I had to ask if I could get a cup holder and lids to take them in the car. The kid holds up his finger and says "yeah gimme a minute" and goes back to taking the next persons order. After taking their money, he then comes over hands me some flat drink lids. Flat drink lids for blizzards that are taller than the lid of the cup. I asked if they were out of the blizzard lids and he looked at me like he was confused about what I was asking for. I'm like "the clear plastic dome lids.... for blizzards? Do they not have those anymore? It HAS been awhile since I've been here" he looks back at his coworker and then at me like "uh, yeah okay" and then goes in the back to get what I'm asking for. Brings some out and sets them down like "here ya go, have a nice day" I guess I wouldn't say the service was "bad" per se, I mean, they weren't flat out rude or anything. They're just not as on the ball as one would expect from a food establishment. The blizzards were certainly delicious though, nothing to complain about there. I'd still go back. I just wouldn't tip as much as I did at least until after the entire transaction was finished.“

“This place is close to me so it's okay but the service wasn't that great to be honest they were not rude they were polite but they just weren't very attentive may be there a little bit understaffed and then there was like this guy in there who was causing a scene as well so that was a little bit off-putting but in general it's in a good location they have a decent menu and I'll probably go back there in the future but not right away“
