I do not know how this caliber of an authentic 70s style, nostalgia themed Korean BBQ restaurant operates a few miles out the Strip. This level can typically be only seen in LA or Irvine K-Town and the consistency of execution even with non-Korean employees is near impeccable. It's almost like a restauteur in LA got disappointed at how things were running and came to Vegas to prove his point. The round tables with the smoke suction setting is a classic. The banchan is plentiful and tasty. The potato pancake could be sold as an independent item but is given out as banchan. You can pretty much go with any short-rib and it is phenomenal, including the accompanying egg souffle and the jjigae. Every dish simply is magnificent and could stand on its own.Make sure to also get the corn-cheese - an absolute must-have comfort food - as well as the lunchbox in a tin. No need to describe it. Just order it.Combining all of this great meat and Korean cooking, with a friendly service, an authentic set up. No wonder Hobak get s 4.6+ at Google today. The only blemish would be the smokey interior and hope they are able to vent more frequently. Yes, it is a BBQ joint and hence there shall be smoke but it is on the thick side.Hobak is a gem in Vegas. For the locals, the visitors, and everyone in between. If you want to experience great Korean BBQ, Hobak is well worth the detour.Parking: Plenty of parking in the plaza.

I dont know much about korean culture and food but this was phenomenal. loud, tasty and fun experience (group of 8 people) been there multiple tikes and every time fresh meat, super tasty sides. I love how you use the grill yourself bit you can also ask for waitress to help you out. If I will be back in Vegas My first place to eat will be there!!!

A fun place to dine. All get to enjoy as the servers handle the cooking. The family combos has good variety of meat & the variety of banchan is quite good. It includes dessert… Korean style ice cream sandwich.

Hobak was our last meal in Las Vegas and we are so glad we found this place on Google. The interior deco was very close to a how an authentic Korean bbq restaurant is set up in Seoul. We came here for the pork neck bbq. It was tender and soft. Besides the food quality, their service was also amazing! Coming from NYC there is usually one wait staff that does everything from taking orders, bringing you food and cooking your meat. Hobak has multiple staff to make sure nothing missed a beat. Definitely worth checking out.

If you're looking to get meat, don't waste your time. This isn't it. Save yourself the time. For you're going to pay at the end, you'd be better off hitting a 5 star steak house. Food wasn't bad. But you definitely don't get what you pay for, portion size. Was a big group of us, 8 at our table the bill was 670.00. They hit you with a 3%no cash fee. Which adds an extra 25 onto your bill. Trust me for the $85 I paid I could've went to an all you can eat Korean BBq with the same quality meats, and still had money leftover.

This place used to be great, about 4 years ago. The late afternoons are apparently now down to just 1 server for 7 to 8 tables, and he was dashing around as quickly as possible in order to function as the host and cashier on top of his role as a server. (We were never checked on to see if we needed anything, like water or napkins, as a result of this. I had to interrupt my dining experience repeatedly to get up multiple times and ask for everything from the kitchen staff.)Our server was so busy that he couldn't stick around for a second more than it took to write down our order, even though we weren't done with it (we wanted drinks with our main meal, at the very minimum). He also misinformed our entire table that side dishes came with the family special, which was untrue, and we were argued with after asking the girl who brought our bill why we charged for the dishes. (We would not have ordered them if we knew.)I left this place, that I used to love, completely embarrassed that I spoke so highly of it in the past. I wish I would have known how downhill Hobak has gone, as I would never have brought my friends here.I also feel as though $240 (not including tip) for the portions we were given was extremely steep. The meat portions have been severely reduced. (They claim the family special serves 2 go 4 people, but since they only give you 1/2 of the amount that they did a few years back, this really only serves 3 people at absolute maximum.)The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the banchans are still unlimited, and the food is still at least pretty decent. Overall, these things were not enough to override the fact that it was an awful experience. After having spent thousands on numerous experiences at this establishment in the past, and having made some great memories here, I'm a bit saddened to say I will not be returning or recommending this place to ANYONE going forward.Shrinkflation, a skeleton crew, and terrible service has done this place in.

First time visiting vegas and like many others, was drawn to this place by my gf since it was a popular spot visited by the K-Pop group BTS. The K-bbq here gave my taste buds a whole new experience. The meat was juicy and oozing with flavor, the portion sizes were enormous, and the service from staff set the standard of how all food establishments should care for their customers. I will make sure to return to this place next time I am in Vegas

Excellent Korean barbecue! Unlike other places, the servers do the cooking for you at the table, which is a relief to me because I always second guess my cooking skills. I have first and second generation Korean relatives, and they recommend this place.

Best Korean BBQ in Vegas. This is where BTS ate when they were in town. Best to order the combo meals of meat and soups.
