The seasoning of the mixed rice was weak and the squid was tough and not very good.

The food is all dried up plus the owner will give you attitude if you ask for togo boxes. He said I was gratified not being charged on boxes this time but said he will charge next time.. ..???????? I was disgusted by his manner....

I have been around Korean styled Chinese cuisine all my life. And this place is among the best I've been to. In many different states in the U.S. including Korea.

It's plentiful and delicious. The portion size is large for one person. It’s been a while since I tasted authentic Korean food.

The middle aged female employee working at the front of the house is extremely disrespectful and has no manners at all. How are you going to work in the customer service field and not have common decency to the people who are contributing to your business?

I've been coming to this place several times with my family and to my surprise, I didn't provide a review/comment about it...until now. Whenever my family and I visit the Korea Town food court, we normally split and pick out our own place to eat. Normally, my daughter is the one that always wants to come to Hong Lou because of their Jajangmyeon (Noodle w/Black Bean Sauce). Whereas, I like to go to one of the restaurants that sells Kal-Bi or any type of Korean Mixed Plate. I especially prefer this restaurant's Fried Dumplings because it is always cooked to my family's liking.Recently (18 Nov 2023), my family and I visited the food court right when they were about to close everything. Unfortunately for us, all the restaurants turned off their lights right when we walked in the food court area except for Hong Lou. As a result, we all ended up eating here and ordered the Jajangmyeon and Fried Dumplings (of course); the Hot Pepper Fried Chicken and Orange Chicken. I am surprised to how a Korean restaurant is able to prepare Chinese entrées much better than several of the Chinese restaurants I've had in my life. The Jajangmyeon is great, but I do wish that their sauce base was a little thicker - the consistency wasn't as thick as how I'm used to eating them when I was younger. But don't get me wrong, the flavor profile was still great and the noodles were cooked to perfection every time we eat here. The only major complaint I would have about this place is that I wish they served some Korean meat entrées. I know typically it wouldn't be an issue for me because I could easily visit one of the other food court restaurants nearby to get my Kal-Bi, Bulgogi, or Meat Jun fix; however, because of my recent experience with this place being the only one opened for my family and I, it would've been nice to have some Korean-inspired meat dishes. Aside from this, the people working here are always friendly and prepare the food lightning fast, which I appreciate because I always arrive starving. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

A food court that I sometimes go to with my kids to buy groceries. A convenient place to visit when you want to eat Jjajang, Jjamppong, or sweet and sour pork. If you feel overwhelmed by the large portion, order Jjajang + Sweet and Sour Pork and Jjamppong and share. Now I feel respect for the old couple's silent and sincere work. Mom smiled when her child praised her for wanting to show the taste of k-food to her school friends?

I traveled from Oregon to Vegas for a week. Quite delicious jajangmyeon, jjamppong, and sweet and sour pork that I have never tasted in Oregon. I think it's a taste and quality that you can only taste if you go to LA. The owner and the outside are silent and blunt, but I think they are good people. I really enjoyed my meal. Highly recommended! And, you two, stay healthy for a long time!!Came from Oregon for the vacation to Vegas. I have never tasted such a good quality food in Oregon. I believe you should go to LA for this kind of food with the quality, at least. Owners don't talk much or smile, but I can feel that they are good people with the personality. It really was tasty. I recommend this place. strongly! Cheers to the Owners!!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - the spicy seafood soup was very spicy this time but the noodles were great again with a delicious broth. Very similar experience as last time where some of the shellfish weren't cleaned very well but other seafood had a nice searAmbience: n/a - located in a food court Service: 5/5 - short and quick interaction Value for price: 5/5 - yummy food for a reasonable price. Will definitely visit should the craving hits again

Scam shop. Pay close attention to what they charge you for versus what you receive. I ordered the half and half jajang and spicy seafood noodle combo. Said it was for Togo. The owner happily charged me $14.95 for it. Then when I went to grab my bag, it felt really light. I opened it up and only saw jajang noodles, no seafood noodles in sight. I told the owner that he got my order wrong. And this is the conversation that was had:Owner: oh we can't do spicy seafood noodle Togo, so I only gave you jajang. Me: .... So you charged me $14.95 for only jajang which you have listed for $10.95?Owner: ...Me: I told you it was for Togo. Why wouldn't you tell me then? And knowing that, why would you still charge me $14.95? $16.20 with tax. Owner: ...Me: you need to give me $4 back for the difference. Owner: ...ok Can you imagine how many people they've scammed this way? Absolutely rubbish human beings.

Good stopover at this food court, for decent jjampong rice dish. Prices on this site need to be updated, this dish was just under $14. A few notes: 1) was given only 2 options, for mild and very spicy, and went with latter. I wouldn't consider it very spicy, but it hit the spot. Some of those fire noodle places go overboard with spiciness, and not even all that tasty. 2) the dish didn't skimp on shrimp, mussels, squid. 3) the rice was served in a styrofoam dish, which was probably the least satisfying point of the order. I just plopped it into the soup and at from there. 4) the clear noodles in the dish was a nice added touch, but it wasn't all that easy to eat with the plastic fork. opted to just put it into the styrofoam bowl and eat it separately. The flavor and spice was absorbed into the noodles, so it was nice. 5) it was quite salty, i was drinking water afterwards. not positive about msg, but even if it had it, it wasn't overly noticeable. 6) food court overall offered a water cooler and a single area for returning trays.

One of the best Jjambong I've had in a long time. Their food is really good nice portion for the price. This is one place I'll always come back to whenever I visit Vegas.
