I thought it was a little sketchy at first, but the host was everything you would expect from a local big island restaurant, very friendly. And the food was a 10 out of 10. I will definitely go again.

We did not dine in, we ordered take out. The interior wasn't anything fancy but they had multiple customers dining in. When it comes to Hawaiian/Island food, it's usually the hole-in-the-wall restaurants that make the BEST good. Although this wasn't just a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, their lack of interior design is early overlooked by islanders because they serve delicious food & their portions are good! The restaurant was going to close in 30 min & they still took our big order. We ordered 6 Combo plates & Kalua Pig + some extra sides. I highly recommend both plates, all the food was food! They were so friendly & expressed appreciation for the business that it made me want to write a review when I typically don't ever.

I make a point to stop at Island Style every time I visit Vegas. The owner is extremely personable and makes you feel like a friend. The food is excellent and has very generous portions - I have never had a bad dish and the banchan is a great addition to any meal.

Russell, the host/concierge, is a wonderfully friendly fellow, offering good cheer and help. The restaurant is a hole in the wall but felt like home. The food was great. We had bibimbap hot pot, jjeungmyeon, kalua (roast pork), fried potstickers, and sweet/sour pork. The sweet/sour pork was served dry with sweet/sour sauce on the side so while good it seemed more of an appetizer. Plenty of food and I recommend the place highly.
