I don't usually crave for pot pies...but on my way back from a day trip I decided to swing by and get a pot pie since I was in the area. I'm so glad I did. I got to the shop very close to their closing time so the choices of cooked pies were slim, luckily they had the classic chicken pot pie that I went there to try. Because we're gluttons we ordered a slew of different empanadas and pot pies to share family style and there wasn't a l**** in the bunch. The pastry was flaky and all were filled with high quality, tasty ingredients. I was really impressed with the amount of chicken in the chicken pot pie - we just kelp pulling out giant chunks of chicken breast. I stopped in randomly this week and was excited to try various items on the menu. I wasn't aware that pre-orders are recommended so there wasn't food up front and ready, though a few pot pie options were available shortly after. I opted for an original chicken pot pie and the chile verde with pork. I love how they label the type of meat in their pies. One had a little chicken baked onto the crust and the other a pig.
