Welp, was here a few months aho looking for authentic italian. Im from North East Pa, so I know authentic italian. Hands down worst chicken Parm I've ever had in my entire life. Then add in cold as hell awful ziti and soggy vegetables. Its almost like you never made italian in your life, I get "good italian" on the west coast is hard to find but for gods sake this place is a solid "Never again" for me.

We have been living in Reno for almost a year and happy we found Johnny’s. We had a few great Italian restaurants in Kansas City and Johnny’s topped them all. Great food and service was fantastic. Top notch wine selection and great cocktails. We really liked the old school ambiance of the restaurant. We met some friends for dinner and it felt like a special occasion. We can’t wait to go back.
Our server David was top notch, and the food was exceptional. Thanks again.Vegetarian options: I had four cheese pizza, it was amazing and enough for two.

My husband and I decided to go to Johnny's for our anniversary. He had never been there, and I had been 8.5 years ago. It was the best experience we have ever had! The service was 100% top-notch (and I watch for everything). The food was to die for! The owner does the cooking, and you can't beat that! They have gluten-free options for pasta, which was delicious! The cheese cake was the best I have ever tasted. They make it in-house and beats anything else. It was light, creamy, not too rich....perfection! The Manger was friendly and helps with service, the servers and waiters were great, our water was always filled, the timing of food was just right, and the price for what you get was excellent. We highly recommend and encourage you to go! We will be returning often.Dietary restrictions: They had great tasting gluten-free pasta for any dish.
We had a wonderful dinner on Jan 13/2024. It was our first time at this restaurant. Loved the “old school” vibe, cozy atmosphere on a cold, windy winter night in Reno. Service was impeccable. Our server was Flavia, and she was just superb! Our food was top notch. Restaurant was packed. We will be back soon!

Had a delicious dinner with my wife. Our waiter Josh was very pleasant and treated us great! We had the Sole and 1 of 3 chef’s specials that Friday, chicken fettuccine Marsala. The food and staff were top notch!I thought the ceiling looked dirty is why 4 stars.
