Edit as if 3-24-24; ????? What happened? My husband and I each got a waffle combo and the waffles were soggy and smaller than usual as if they switched the iron. Husband asked for cornbread hash and was given sausage w/ soft chucks of potato? This was not hash. $8 for 2 bites if inedible food. $3.50 for a cup of coffee? Prices have really gone up. Was thoroughly disappointed especially since this was my husband's first time...................old review ;Their French toast is something else. Made with bagettes. It's thick and surprisingly soft . Very very filling. I'm a larger person and I couldn't finish the plate.

I have bought pastries from Joseph's for years. But I believe since he has pasted and the new owners have take over it is by no means as good. While in town on business I bought several Danish and a couple of desserts. When I had my meeting with my clients I was appoled at finding that the cinnamon twist was so hard, and it tasted stale. The worst part was when my client was eating the strawberry/blueberry Danish and she noticed mold all over the berries. This will be the last time we will buy here. I guess the new owners never learned from Joseph. Thank God we have a new bakery in south Reno!

A friend and I had a great lunch there a few weeks ago. But whenever I’m there, it’s a must to take back home a few goodies from the bakery for the family. There is not a better bake shop in all of Reno!

I love their lobster Benedict. It's reasonably priced the potatoes are good and it comes with a little Mini scone. Must have it twice a month. Highly recommend!

The Wienerschnitzel was chicken? What? It's meant to be veal. The Bratwurst was low grade. Speatzle was ok - Maagi or something out of a box. The Kraut, both blue and white, was good. But the bread is very, very good. Gonna go back for more of that Rye: good flavor and excellent texture!

A good selection of baked goods. I purchased a birthday cake from them; it was nicely decorated but the cake it self was a bit dry and crumbly. Not what I expected from them based on the visual quality of all the other tasty looking items they sell.

Very mediocre experience. Never got any refills. My food was just meh. Very basic chicken fried steak. Still unsure how they poached my eggs and I don't know what they put in the fried potatoes, I think maybe fennel.... but it was way overpowering. Wife said her french toast was

Good food and friendly service. You can order a whole meal or just get a pastry and coffee. The atmosphere when we were there was lively and bustling.

I was not watching time, and the bakery closed while we were having a late lunch. A 15-minute notice of closing would have been nice. Our table of women may have purchased upwards of $100 of your sweet treats. Thanks ?

Got the last table open at the time on a busy Sunday morning after church. Despite the rush, the service was very good. The menu is extensive, and the food was excellent. Fresh, hot, just right. Looking forward to going back when it's not so busy.
