Posh nice place to stay by the river. Restaurant has great food and the bar has a nice vibe. Plus the bocce ball bar is also fun.

First time here. We had our Wooster High School class reunion. Nice venue. Great service and food & drink!

Stayed here for one night in a King Suite. The bathroom was nice. Wish there was a microwave in the living room area. The furniture and lighting was interesting but strange, which I think is part of the brand. For 2 people, I wish there were 2 chairs near the table?? It was hard to spend time anywhere except the small leather sofa. The Bluetooth speakers were nice. King bed very comfortable and good AC, 2 controls for the inside of bedroom and also for outside. Love that there is 1.5 bathrooms too. The black out curtains work REALLY well. The amenities are nice, wish their lounge was a bit more work friendly with comfier chairs. The best part is the bar and restaurant on the ground floor, definitely stop by there. Staff is friendly and accommodated my check in and outs well. Pool and gym is also very nice, but there was a guy smoking there with a no smoking sign that really annoyed me because I was trying to enjoy my time in the pool area. The lobby also had an annoying guy bothering me which was kind of sus and made me wonder if its just the area. The old car displayed is a nice touch as it is right across the automobile museum. Location is great, located near the ROW and lots of coffee and food options too. River walk is right next to the hotel.Self parking is $15 overnight.

Pulling into the valet our family of four was greeted quickly and warmly by the valet. He was very helpful. Upon arriving at the front desk we were greeted with smiles but told one of our two rooms wasn’t ready. It was 8:30PM!! Explanation was staffing but it was 8:30PM!! Front desk handled it well and gave us some vouchers for getting dinner at the restaurant. But told us we had just 20 minutes before the kitchens closed at 9PM. We rushed to our one room. 8:45 the main restaurant The Shore said they stopped seating at 8:40!?? Clearly more interested in staff going home than serving guests she suggested the bar. After driving 7 hours to get here we needed food. The bartender at first was hesitant to take a food order with kitchen closing but did after I explained we got in and needed to eat. The food was horrible. I’ve had gas station food better than what we were served. He ended up being a good server. The next morning more indifference with hostess at the restaurant for breakfast. Our server Ashley was great. I’ve spent over 800 nights at Marriott properties. This was the worst.

Rooms were decorated with a interesting theme. There is a fish decal on the ceiling. I was assigned a room on a lower floor with no view. The windows were frosted to block the view of the a/c units on the rooftop outside the window. The room offered a mini fridge and coffee maker; however, I found a Q-Tip next to the coffee maker. I found other small issues relating to the lack of the room being properly cleaned. The walls are thin. I was woken many times with noise from the adjoining rooms. Beautiful hotel, great location, but sadly needs improvment in many areas. The low rating is due to the thin walls and noise level , and the of question of the cleanliness of the room.

The nicest hotel in the Reno area! That being said, this is a Renaissance and quite expensive during the tourist season. There are lots of amenities and a couple of restaurants/bars to eat at on-site. The customer service is always top-notch. There are a couple of places to walk your dog but the area outside can get a little sketchy at night so bring a flashlight and some sort of protection. Central to everything downtown and only a couple of blocks from the ballpark.

Based on other reviews, apparently I'm not the only guest with a frustrating experience over missing personal items. Generally nice property, but minus one star for charging premium prices in a very not premium neighborhood. Minus another star for GM not returning an email.

Clean and beautiful hotel. Staff member Jared was extremely helpful and professional. He went above and beyond to help with urgent requests. Convenient location in walking distance to good restaurants. Rooms are large. Bathrooms are great size. You will enjoy every minute of your stay here!

We have stayed here countless nights since last December. On average 3 nights per month. We've enjoyed clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, great meals and yummy drinks from the bar. We are Platinum Elite with Marriott, so we enjoy having access to the lounge for bottled water and snacks. We've really only had two issues during our multiple stays. The last time we stayed we were able to enjoy the pool and you could order food/drink from the app and go pick it up--well the app is a hot mess, we placed the order only to find out when picking it up that the drinks were not included. We were told to order them again, which we did--turns out the problem is that they were out of the canned alcoholic beverages, the bartender hooked us up (Todd is the man) so that we would not need to go to the front desk to get the app charges removed. It's always "how a problem is handled" and Todd did a great job with that. Our other issue is why this place is getting 4 stars instead of 5. Back in April, we had two 3 night stays and when we checked out the second time and got home, we realized that my husband had left two baseball caps in the room. I immediately called, they checked the lost and found log and there was nothing reported. I called the next day and a few more times after that and nothing. When we arrived in May, I asked again and nothing. What I find very frustrating in this instance is that it is very clear that an employee was dishonest. The only person allowed in the room after we checked out would be housekeeping, they should be able to pinpoint exactly which of their staff took care of this room and they would inevitably have found the hats- they were on the nightstand. We've accidentally left personal items at hotels before and we were always able to recover them, one of the two hats had sentimental meaning to my husband and cannot be replaced.
