Great food. Family owned. Not open every day due to lack of workers. Doing pop up events.

My absolute favorite Italian bistro!!! So very sad that they closed their doors. I wish Susan and Brett the best in their next experience! Thank you for all the amazing food over the years!

We came once before several years ago and had a wonderful dining experience. We had always intended to come back- unfortunately we found out today that Sardina's will be closing in mid May. We immediately returned tonight for one more chance to eat here! Thank you Sardina and all the staff there for another wonderful meal and all your hard work! We will miss you in the community :)

Amazing food, so sad they will be closing May 15. One of our favorite places for date night, best veal saltimbocca we've ever found!

Eric was an EXCEPTIONAL server. We received delicious, authentic Italian cuisine in a lovely atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly, with Eric consistently checking in with us. Highly recommend the ricotta gnocchi - absolutely DELICIOUS! So sad to see this business go..

A hidden gem. Casual, friendly vibe. A nice mix of traditional Italian fare coupled with some creative house specialties. Sadly, after 17 years, it is closing on 05/15/2021.

new to Reno and was told to try Sardinias have to say one of the worst Italian meals ive had the pasta was way overcooked with cheap ingredients service was unfriendly the worst part we walked past the owner/chef on the way out and were not thanked

Was a little hesitant eating indoors for the first time since forever, but they did a good job reducing the capacity, wearing masks and spacing out patrons. The food here was classic Italian - very rich, savoury and meaty. So why not go big! Combination Plate: spaghetti marinara & meatballs, fettuccini alfredo & traditional lasagna. Let's just be upfront and admit that I did not finish this massive heap of decadence - but I can assure everyone that it's great for leftovers after a long day of skiing in the cold! Spaghetti had more marinara that I personally preferred, but still good. Alfredo was my favorite - not super creamy and it's all about good, slightly al dente noodles to hold up against the heavy sauce. The lasagna lost all semblance of structure when dumped on the plate and could have had more noodle layers. It seemed like a big heap of over salted ground beef with no rhyme or reason - probably needs more baked, solidified cheese on top. By the way, for you wine-o's, paid this heavy dish with the Nessun Dorma Super Tuscan - big and bold, just like the food. Shrimp Scampi (sampled off child's plate): Excellently cooked shrimp - succulent and plump, buttered to perfection. It comes with angel hair - very traditional and done well. Super accommodating and gallant service. Our waitress was consistently attentive, explantory and super nice. She even ran out to the parking lot to flag down someone in our party who had left their credid card.

We found this restaurant a little tired, basically upstairs to an odd looking dining room had the calamari which were very chewy the veal was ok but didnt seem as fresh as I am use to. We barely saw our server friendly but inept

Absolutely wonderful food and experience. We had an amazing "early" Valentine's dinner here. Every detail of the meal was fantastic, including the touch of tulips for us at the table. The Frangelico Cheesecake was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. Nothing but a great experience each time we've eaten here. Compliments to the chef and staff!!!

Susan prepares the most exquisite dishes based on her Sicilian background. Save room for dessert as they and a coffee are a perfect finish to a perfect meal.

I would highly recommend going to this small exquisite Italian restaurant. The food is amazing a lot of tradition and history in the family that runs that place and you won't be disappointed
