Except for the music that makes conversation a bit rough, Los Compadres Restaurant is a comfortable venue to meet up with friends. We did that today. My high school buddy, from way back in the 1950s, joined us there for lunch. LC food is just as we remembered it from several previous visits. It’s most scrumptious. I don’t get the negative reviews. My carnita enchiladas were tasty and Maritza provided amazing service. I couldn’t decide to get green or red sauce so she suggested one of each. We sat down and the staff was at our table with chips and salsa asking for our drink order immediately. We will definitely be back.

We decided to try out this restaurant, as we like to experience new place's and take advantage of what type's of food Reno has to offer. We went at lunch time, yet was seated and served in a timely manner. Our server was awesome and the food was great with one exception. There was far too much cheese on top of the entree's!
