Two favorites are whiskey bourbon bbq rub and the bbq pulledPork Store is well set up, nice freezer section, even a refrigerated section for some fresh stuff to go with ur meat“
“12.22.23: I wanted to try a molcajete as I never have before and recently saw one in a video online. After researching a few places I decided to try Mariscos El BarCo for my belated birthday dinner with a friend. As we walked in we immediately heard live music, which was unexpected and a total plus. There were 2 men playing a guitar and a keyboard. They sounded good and it made for a lively atmosphere.Although our server only spoke Spanish and me very little Spanish, we were still able to describe, show a picture, and easily order the molcajete I've been wanting to try. As for drinks, we both got the double Michelada and it was served in a huge tall mug and complimented our meal perfectly. The molcajete came out steaming hot. There were shrimps, cactus, chicken, steak, chorizo, and cheese, which all tasted really good and the chicken and steak were tender and not dried out! My only complaint was the shrimp with the prawn heads weren't cleaned very well, but the dish also included shrimp without the heads and they were clean with no vein. The molcajete broth was tasty and unique and not oily, so that's a plus! When we ran out of tortillas, they had no problem giving us more.Overall the service was good and despite the language barrier, our server was nice and friendly and answered our questions about the menu. Having live music with our meal was fun and made the ambience that much more enjoyable.Parking: There's street parking available if lot is full“
“Hana Garden is a cozy restaurant nestled in a Korean-centric plaza. Upon entering, you're immediately enveloped in a local and traditional atmosphere—not the fancy, modern, or fusion styles. The food here is what I would describe as "homestyle," lacking surprises in a good way. While the galbitang doesn't utilize the best cuts of meat and the seafood pancake falls somewhat short of expectations, and personally, I'm not a fan of the jjajangmyeon here, it's worth noting that in Reno, where dining options are somewhat limited, this Korean restaurant stands out. For that reason, I'd give it an extra star. Moreover, the prices are relatively reasonable. Overall, I'd recommend giving it a try after a full day of snow sports, especially before heading out for an exciting night in Reno's casinos.“
“I absolutely love this restaurant! It was such a fun date night filled with crabs. I had 1/2lb king crab, 1/2lb Dungeness crab, and 1/2lb crawfish. My husband had 1lb Dungeness and 1/2lb crawfish. It was delicious! 10 out of 10 would recommend!“
“We came for lunch, and ordered the avocado and chicken sandwich, the western burger, and the sampler platter. All of the food was fantastic, and very generous portions! Staff was very friendly. Definitely give this place a try; we will be back for sure!“
“Pan Roast is great! Must try it. Also Oyster shooters are excellent as well. Been coming here for years.Dietary restrictions: Not many options for allergy restrictions. Also staff was unaware what if any options were available. I do not recommend this restaurant if you suffer from food allergies.“
“Made a reservation for two the day before for6:30pm. We were greeted by staff and waited about5-10 minutes before we were seated. They were quite busy and taken to the second floor. Our server got our drinks and gave us time to look through the menu. Most places given bread, but here they give pretzel sticks with a thing of butter. The pretzels were kind of salty and I would have preferred bread. We ordered the following:Beer battered coconut prawns: this appetizer came with 4 pieces of shrimp laying on a sauce that reminded me of sweet chili sauce. There was also 2 slices of grilled pineapple. 5/5Teriyaki Salmon Salad: came in a big bowl with slices of bell peppers, cucumbers, arugula, red onions, tangerines, and wonton chips with 2 pieces of salmon on top. I wish there was less arugula and more of the other things. But it was good! 5/5Filet and Scampi: it does not come with pasta. It has 3 pieces of shrimp, asparagus and a filet. Both were cooked nicely. 5/5We came a day before Valentine's Day and the interior had a lot of Valentine's Day decor. The lighting is too dark in my option. There are TVs throughout. If you are seated on the first floor, it is an open kitchen. There is a bar on both floors. There is also outdoor seating with a great view of the Sparks Marina, but it was quite cold outside currently. I have been here two other times and has sat outside where they have an outdoor bar. Our server was exceptionally because she was always checking on us and our food came out in a timely mannerly. Definitely would recommend the Sparks Marina!“
“Our first experience at the Dukes inside Legends Casino. Our waiter was so friendly and patient attending to our table of 5 and my mother in-laws dietary restrictions. Our food was absolutely delicious. My filet mignon was a perfect medium rare, the lobster bisque was beautifully presented and very flavorful. The dessert was amazing! Thank you“
