Chicken Joe's Albany

Loved talking to the two gentleman who were working in this cute hole-in-the-wall.The food does not live up to the reviews. The chicken sandwich was dry with a thin, overcooked piece of chicken. It would have been delicious if it was juicy. Sadly I won't have time to return during my trip for the corn fritters. Absolutely amazing. Great portion sizes.

I've gotten Chicken Joe's a couple times. I've tried their classic chicken, a wrap, onion rings and their bangin' bites, and all of them have been pretty tasty. However, most recently, my fiancé added a side of mac & cheese to our order ... and it was without a doubt the worst that either of us had ever tasted, from anywhere. the quality is just not there anymore. the breakfast menu has been torn to pieces. they didn’t follow the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!” fan favorites have been taken on an off the menu leaving loyal returning customers in question.the staff however are magnificent. at times i do understand it is busy and probably faces no competition within the area. some are always willing to take the extra step and some just don’t want to be there. it is a simple hit or miss.i...read full review
