“So my gf and I visited Country Cottage for the first time last night as we were celebrating 30 yrs together and we heard a lot about this place and decided to try it.When we got there we did have to wait a few minutes to be seated as they were busy and the waitress wanted to sit us at a clean table- not a bad thing!I got turkey soup and than chicken and biscuit dinner and my gf got the Rubin and fries dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic! My gf said it was the best Rubin she had had and my soup and dinner was so good!Thank You Country Cottage for making our 30 yr anniversary dinner not only special but so good!“
“Small, old time diner with wonderful homemade soup, fresh sandwich fixings that can be served on lettuce with fresh sliced tomato wedges as well as on bread. Owner and patrons very friendly & welcoming....like having lunch with family. Mostly counter seating with a couple small tables at the end. Closes from 2:30-3:30 and reopens till 7.Parking: Might have to walk from up/down the street at busy times.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Building is old and has step up to enter. There are handhold for people who have difficulty walking.Dietary restrictions: Aware of gf restrictions and usually has a good soup. Willing to serve sandwich fillings on plate.“
“I just love this place. The space is clean. The food is always good. The service makes you feel taken care of. They never rush you out when you are chatting longer over your cup of coffee than you intended. It's nice to support a small business that is working hard to provide a great experience.“
“Wanted to try a new place to eat for some breakfast and based my decision off of Googling “breakfast place near me” in North Buffalo .Glad I came across it because the food was great and the service was excellent! Highly recommend it and will definitely be back.“
“I absolutely love Taki's. I live nearby and visit occasionally (I have to restrain myself from visiting too much!) I always take family here for breakfast or lunch when they visit. The owners are amazing. The food is always great and very quick. The owners are very nice people! I wish more restaurants operated like they do.“
“This place is honestly kinda strange. You come in and you wouldn't expect much at all. Its certainly a dive type of restaurant with old baseball memoriable all over the walls. However you'll be surprised to find that the food here is actually very good! I normally go for the LumberJack Breakfast. The French toast at this place is always 100% amazing! I really love the bacon here to always super crispy. Despite the appearance this place is worth it!“
“Great food and generous portions! My husband and mom loved their fish fries. I had the meatloaf bomber. My chocolate peanut butter milkshake was very yummy! My mom also loved her macaroni and cheese. Very nostalgic setting. Amazing waitress! Great time!“
“Came here for lunch. This is an old fashioned diner with booths, tables and a counter. We decided to sit at the counter for the full diner experience. The server gave us our menus and my cup of coffee. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. They have some breakfast items available to order during the traditional lunchtime. I ordered their Breakfast Garbage Plate that is a hash with everything cooked together. It had potatoes, bacon, ham, sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms and eggs mixed togther with cheese on top and served with your choice of toast. All I can say is WOW! Even though everything was cooked together, the ingredients were cut large enough to taste each component. I highly recommend this diner and the Breakfast Garbage Plate.“
“The food is always good and the waitress is always cheerful, even when we show up an hour before close. She is quick with service and fixes mistakes without complaint. She gets us a refill on beverages without us even having to wait to ask her for one.Parking: Parking is always available in front of the restaurant“
“Outstanding. Just popped in for lunch and the food was amazing. Almost went for fast food and glad we didn't. Prices are very reasonable and actually cost less than if I'd have gone to Arby's, so definitely worth going if you need “
“In town from Chicago for a hockey tourney. Stopped in for breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Menu is thorough. Met the owner. Solid down to earth guy. Food was ordered, made quickly, and tasted delicious. Totally recommended if you’re hungry and looking for a classic diner.“
“The food here is fantastic! I got the gyro souvlaki and it was so tender and flavorful. Our waitress was outstanding... always filling out water. My girlfriend got the chicken soulvaki and raved about hers. I'm a soulvaki connoisseur... HIGHLY suggest this place. Portions are great. Took half home!!“
“First time My wife and I ever being there food was hot although it was crowded food came out in good timing.Second time being there my wife and I experience a little of a pushy waitress a waitress that didn't want to be there on a buffalo bills game day although she lost out on a good tip otherwise everything is good“
“I typically frequent the delaware location. Tonight i decided to go to this location instead! This location immediately impressed me. The atmosphere was comfortingand welcoming. Our waitress was timely & considerate of our menu selections. jessica made us feel like a member of the denny’s family. she gave use options regarding our hash browns id never been offered before from other locations. It was warm and cozy inside! extremely comfortable. the food has just been amazing. fresh and hot. some of the best pancakes to ever bless my palate. thank you dennys for opening my third eye tonight.“
“Hidden gem in Larkinville, near Buffalo.Visited from Toronto and this place did not disappoint. It gets quite busy but we only waited for about 12 mins. The restaurant itself is tiny but cozy, the staff are friendly (I swear "Woody Harrelson" was serving the couple beside us lol). Not our server, but an employee with coloured hair kept saying "Excuse me!" quite loud with an attitude like we're ruining her day. It was obvious she's being rude. Other than that, the overall service was fine.We ordered Reuben with sweet potato fries; it wasn't too bad and the portions were good, not too stingy either. The House Corned Beef Hash was very good but the corned beef was a little dry. The grilled cheese sandwich with chips was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids.“
