The service was good pleasant environment the young brother I assume was the manager ask me to be honest in my review so here it is. The stew chicken was ok to me my wife enjoyed the stew chicken i think the rice was a lil to mushy and the chicken was either over cooked or old bc it was chewy as of it was cooked more than a few days ago my son's had the oxtails i didn't hear any complaints so I assumed it was good but overall I'm giving island flavor 3 out of 5 for the stew chicken...read full review
I found this place by accident since I was in the area purchasing furniture and have been meaning to write this review for over a week. I am from queens and this place is better than any Jamaican spots around me. We showed up an hour before closing they still had a good selection of dishes and what they didn't they said they would make. Outstanding customer service. While we waited I inquired about the different selection of dishes and was offered free samples which increased our order. The tropic fruit juices are delicious. I got the passion fruit guava and the pineapple passion fruit!
