Well, it too a lonnnnng time, but the bartender was apologetic and kept providing us with updates.I ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and my companion ordered the shrimp tacos. Everything was flavorful and the burger patty was thick and had an excellent char. I would order it again.“

They were large, lightly breaded and succulent. The taste was a perfect balance of fresh oyster sweetness and briny saltiness, in a light fried bite that was still deliciously juicy.We also split the steamed seafood combo with mussels, clams, scallops, shrimp, and sweet corn. The broth was excellent and the seafood perfectly steamed.Definitely putting this on my Return Again list.“

I had the lobster and shrimp stuffed penne in vodka sauce - hearty, tender, perfectly cooked seafood without that rubbery feeling in a fantastically creamy sauce. I sliced my stuffed penne into diagonal strips and every bite was amazing. Others had the crab leg and steak special; crab wasn't as good as my shrimp and lobster being a little over-boiled perhaps but the skirt steak had great flavor and chew. Most entrées hovered around $30. Would absolutely return.Note they have valet parking due to its popularity and limited parking space - so bring some small bills.“
“Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. “Today was my annual birthday dinner with my family and my little brother. It's both our birthdays so we get to choose where we want to go out to eat with all of us. So I had decided that we should try the New Restaurant Voodoo Crab in Massapequa and let me tell you, it was definitely better than I expected. The food was good, definitely reminds me of hook and reel up in Hicksville or sexy crab in Levittown… Food is definitely comparable and was very good. But What made this experience AMAZING was the impeccable customer service that we received! Lilliana was our waitress and she was wonderful to say the least… If I can give a 10 star rating for service, I would've given them a higher star. But the best part was the owner of the restaurant coming around to make sure everything was well with us. He definitely went above and beyond making sure that we were completely satisfied. And besides singing the regular, happy birthday to us, they surprised us with a couple of free desserts because of our birthdays. Not sure if that's a normal practice but I'd have to save out of the three restaurants mentioned, Voodoo Crab is now my absolute favorite because of the service! If you're looking for a great atmosphere, with great food, very fair pricing, and the best service I've had in a long time… I would highly recommend Voodoo Crab to you! The waitress was amazing, reciting an extensive list of daily specials and remembering everyone's order with the finest detail. I never thought of this place as a prime sushi location, but I was delightfully mistaken! Amazing, fresh cuts of fish. I am very particular about my steaks, though, especially considering this is a well-known steakhouse. I ordered medium rare, but it was pretty significantly overcooked. It was still delicious, and I didn't want to make a big deal of it. But, because of how expensive everything was, I was tempted. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience. The dim sum sampler is a great introduction to figuring out what you like. The fried rice with bone marrow was definitely something unique to try. “I would have given them a 5 but since they got a new person, she's been messing up my orders. Forgetting a lot of ingredients and when I asked for a little salmon with my spicy tuna, she literally put one piece of it. I always pay extra for the salmon add on but she didn't let me explain. Then when my mom wanted peanuts on her order, she put a pinch of it. I'm sorry but I don't know if I can keep going somewhere and constantly telling them what to put on when she keeps looking back at the menu and still forgets. Before her, I had no problem at all! Literally would come here at least 2-3 times a week. Also you guys should put more seasoned tuna bc I always get the number 2. They never have any left and just put the giant onion pieces which I hate.“

When we first got there it was super packed, we thought we would have to wait to eat because it was so busy but they sat us right away and we ordered the Rotizio and they started coming around with the foods and side in less then 10 minutes. The service was so good, so attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious especially the beef short ribs. We ended the evening with their cappuccino’s and they were the best cappuccino we ever had. We loved how they did the birthdays with an accordion birthday song. They certainly don't skimp on the variety of options food wise from starters, quesadillas, tacos to wraps etc. Drink wise I went with the "Mammacita Needs A Margarita" aka a Spicy Marg. Loved the addition of cucumber to the drink to balance it and give it a little refreshing aspect. Food wise we just got a smattering of tacos (Luger, Tropical Lobstahhh, Birria, Al Pastor, Carne Smack Dat Asad and the Cali-Flower) just to try and sample a little of everything. First and foremost, the portions are legit - they don't skimp out so you'll be full or even have extra to take home. Taste wise, my top 3 were the Luger, Lobster and Cali-Flower. All very flavorful and unique in their own way. Definitely will be back once the weather heats up!“

They have a big selection of slices available , I usually get the brick oven pizzetta which is delicious. Their garlic knots are some of the best around. They also have pasta nights and chicken nights where there are specials on those dishes. It can be extremely busy sometimes, but the service is good and the guys behind the counter are all funny and treat you like family. Highly recommend!“

The food is similar but the Merrick outpost is much smaller than E.M., with funky decor and (IMHO) better food. I didn't have a rez, got the only empty table as a walk-in. Service was friendly but slow as only one person was serving the whole place plus there was a glitch with our order, but the excellent food and drink quality made up for those issues. We were too early for the Tuesday $3.50 margarita happy hour (starts at 4:00), so shared a half pitcher of house margaritas instead - they were tasty and strong. (Please don't judge me for early alcohol intake, had a hellish morning so needed a nice numbing agent:) My Mole Poblano Enchiladas were fantastic, 3 of them loaded with chunks of chicken and covered with a sublime mole sauce. Partner's Burrito Mojado was made with skirt steak, he said it was delicious as well. The dishes came with yummy rice and beans, and each plate was embellished with a lovely purple orchid.“
