“I've been here twice and each time it's been incredible. The atmosphere is lovely and low-key, the service is prompt and helpful, and the food is GREAT. The spicy Himalayan chicken is the perfect blend of spice and flavor, the soups are all comforting, and the momos, as you might expect are out of this world. A great way to end your day in Beacon, I heartily recommend it.”
“On our way down Main Street, we were drawn into Reserva from the live music playing inside. We changed our plans and decided to grab a bite here. The menu is pretty limited, as it is a wine bar. But the food was very good. The croissants melted in your mouth! The quiche was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh. I was disappointed that they do not offer pão de queijo on Sundays.”
“The service is quick , staff is friendly , Food is tasty and fresh , it's a real diner! they have booths to sit in and laminated menus . My 7 year old thinks it's the best place !!Also is very affordable”
“I came here relatively late on a Friday night. I had a ticket back home on the Metro-North and I didn't want to miss my train, but I also wanted to grab something to eat. The restaurant staff were very helpful in getting me a bacon burger to go. The burger was fairly greasy. It would've been nice if they included a plastic fork for the coleslaw. Overall, they came in clutch.”
“Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, very clean, quiet, relaxed. Coffee selection is good, leans towards specialty beans, darker roasts. Freshly roasted whole beans are available too with an okay selection.”
“Great beer in a nice inviting space. The owner/brewer is very nice and fun to talk with. Friendly staff makes this a fun place to hang out for a quick beer or more.”
“Went here for Valentine's Day, our first dining out date. I usually cook on this day but decided to venture out and see what's out there. Was intrigued what KSS had to offer and decided to do the chef's tasting menu. They are only open for supper on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The place is intimate and the tasting menu was presented on the table with the optional wine pairing. From the moment we had the first bite, it was just an experience. Bite after bite was a delight for our taste buds. Although the ingredients were familiar, the taste was not. It truly needed the attention of your taste buds to enjoy each bite. You don't know what you don't know and each bite of this course was phenomenal. The pork that was served was a cross breed of an Iberico and Berkshire hog (I was told) from a natural farm. That parsnip puree and its sauce was unlike I've ever tasted. I literally wanted to lick that plate clean. The meat may have been overcooked as it was a little hard to cut into it. If you want to experience a Chef's tasting locally at Beacon, head to their website for reservations and check out the menu.”
“Everything what you’d want in a NY deli. The sandwiches are consistently perfect, it’s super quick - usually in and out within 5-10 mins, AND on top of that everything is priced very reasonably. I heard rumors that it might get sold a little while ago, but I hope Mr. V’s stays in Beacon forever.”
“The chicken and waffles were delicious. Everything was made to order and didn't take very long. It wasn't busy when we went but there was a large group there and service was still quick.”
“Despite all the restaurant competition in Beacon, this place is still a stand out. Nice venue to see some of the old time greats. Food was absolutely fantastic, but they seem a little short on the front end. Not enough staff. But if you have a little patience you have a wonderful meal.”
“We only had drinks, but they were good. Good options for a small place. Cute novelty items for sale that help support the Cat Cafe. Reservations are REQUIRED. There are a few seats, but the main objective is to get these cats adopted. There are strict rules, so go to their website for details. Street parking is available, but limited. We had to park around the corner.”
“Bartenders are always wonderful and know what they are doing. The painting on the wall is big and beautiful(like me). They have an outdoor area when it's nice. Events are always being held here as well as live music. They have your classic drinks as well as a variety of unique cocktails. Prices are definitely fair and affordable. My favorite thing about this place is that I can get any number of amazing restaurants food right to the bar while I sit back and enjoy the vibe of Roosevelt. Definitely didn't take enough pictures so I'll be returning to try more things.”
“Really enjoyed coming here after a long hike. It's more modern than most breweries. I highly recommend the blueberry sour. Too bad the cans were sold out. The pizzas were delicious too. I think they are a pop up. Must try!”
“All the ingredients are fresh, loved everything I ate. Service on point, everyone is nice.Fresh and delicious ingredients, I loved everything I ate. Very good service and attention, everyone is very friendly.”
“I absolutely love this place! The owner and staff are so kind and really know how to make a healthy and yummy smoothie! Lots of options for those who are gluten free/dairy free! Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options!”
