I was born and grew up in The Bronx nearby on Beaumont Avenue, attended Fordham University, and grew up with my family always having Borgatti's during Holidays and special events. Borgatti's is as authentic and true to its roots as can be imagined. And more! Chris the owner still uses the original machine to make the pasta that his dad used, and sometimes has to make parts for it to keep it going! That's authentic!! This place is the real deal. I travel from Manhattan to The Bronx to shop here and buy 10 pounds of pasta, individually packed in 1 pound packages that go into the freezer so that I have fresh pasta for months. Their pasta is great and the staff is as friendly as you can get. In the world of big food companies and fast food, this is one of the gems still left in the world!
