We were a large party of 8 that came to eat! The location was convenient after coming from a rage room session across the street. We arrived right at dinner time and were greeted by the host. It looks smaller than it seems when you enter but there is also a back space. The bar space is pretty small though and the atmosphere is very chilled. Our waitress arrived with water and took our drink order first. We ordered a few things from the drink menu, including the Bronx berry mule, which was Delicious!! The mussels we ordered also had good flavor, the sauce really made the mussels pop. I had the harvest burger which was a deconstructed veggie burger with quinoa as a base. It was surprisingly delicious and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to my fellow peers, I also tried the lamb burger, sweet potato fries and the garlic fries. I have no complaints, they made sure you tasted the garlic in the garlic fries and the meal was packed with flavor. You can order regular fries, if you choose to. I wanted to give this place a 5 but our server left without notifying there would be a switch. Our new waiter was attentive. It did take a while to receive our meal and our appetizer came out with the meal. Overall, this place is a nice corner gem. I would definitely come back to try more of the drinks and experience brunch.

I really wanted to like this place. I waited well over 30 mins for an appetizer and over an hour for a burger and fries. Which was Ice cold when I got it. My daughter got a steak that was supposed to be medium rare and was well done and also cold. The food was clearly just sitting and I'm not sure if that was the fault of the waiter or the cook. After bringing the food home and heating it up it actually wasn't all that bad. I don't send food back so that was my only option. I probably won't be back here. Too many things went wrong for me to think maybe it was just a bad day.

Nice very nice 10/10 will recommend don't get the shrimp tho. I sat in the bathroom for 1 hour straight I felt like I was gonna combust. I was tweaking my life flashing through my eyes. I swear I saw Jesus trying to fight for my life as well. 10/10 will come here and order the shrimp again.

I stopped by Charlie's Bar and Kitchen just for a drink after a long day on Fri 2/9/24 and was overall pleased with my short experience. Ambiance: The restaurant is dark with candles at each table and light sconces along the expose brick wall. The decor reminded me of a 1930's jazz club. Old school R&B serenaded me as I de-stressed. I love how laid back the vibe is- you can come in with jeans and sneakers and still feel welcomed. Service: When I first arrived, I stood at the front awkwardly. Since it's a small space everyone can see when someone walks in, including the waitress. She walked past me a few times and never said "give me one second" or acknowledged me. After about 7 minutes, I went to the bartender and asked if I can seat myself or do I have to wait to be seated. He explains the waitress will seat me in a few. After a few more minutes of watching her walk past me, she showed me to my table which was near the bar. From there, the waitress was sweet as a peach so I just deduced the long wait to her being preoccupied. She kept checking on me and was very nice. Since this is a small spot, I recommend being patient and making a reservation. Drink: I ordered the Paloma which has a tequila and a grapefruit base. It was pretty, well blended and strong. I actually ended up ordering a 2nd one. You can tell they really put effort into the art of mixology. While I wasn't hungry, I seen someone at another table order the fried chicken dinner and it smelled and looked delicious. I can't wait to come back and try their food and I'll be sure to keep you all updated on how that goes!

Kiki and Nikki and the rest of the staff were so kind, fun and gracious. We came in around 1:30p and stayed until 7p. Very unusual for us but we were having such a good time. The food was delicious but what made it great was the staff. My friends went back last night for the live music and I plan on visiting in the near future.

I called to order food around 7:30pm on 2/2/24 and the female that answered the phone was very rude. I said to her I would like to place an order and she paused and exhale as if I was annoying her then asked what I wanted, so I said the fried chicken. I asked if it came with a side and that's when she became even more rude and told me she's very busy and I should go look at the menu online and call back when I know what I want or order online and hung up. I've called in my order before and never had this issue. So, after that rudeness why would I go order online/ call back? Anyhow, won't be ordering again or visiting the restaurant since she left a bad taste in my mouth.
