Great place great people. I attended a function for Disabled Veterans it was Great ! We had raffles,great food. And the Volunteers were the best they had speakers that spoke to us not at us. Usually people donate space for us to have things but ! You don't meet the owners not these guys they talked & had fun wit us like we were friends and notLike we were Disabled Veterans it was Great ! Not one question about why my leg had Scars on it from surgeries they didn't even see my legs and I had onShorts . WOW great people. Oh boyThey had a kid there serving by the nameOf Conner this young man handled a room wit 30 grumpy, battle tested Marines,Army artillery,and special forcesWit ease He didn't break a sweatAnd knew the menu in his head and keptThe orders straight ??♂️could be my RTOMan any day. Thanks 4 the experience

Brian and Downeys were absolutely fantastic! They came to my rescue when I needed to find a place for my baby girl's 1st birthday party at the last minute. Not only that, but they accommodated every single request I had.Thanks to them, the birthday party was truly memorable, and now I can't wait to have my baby shower there as well!

I travel all the way from Queens to drink at Downey’s bar and grill because the experience in there phenomenal. The bartenders never make you wait the taps are clean and the burgers are out of this world. Check this place out.

Great neighborhood bar and restaurant with a large back room for special events. Food is delicious and large portions. Well stocked bar with a good selection of draft beers. Entertainment is great, especially on Saturdays with live music.No bar can be successful without a great staff and they definitely have that. Bartenders, barbacks, waiters, and of course the chef. They are all great.Pictures attached to this review are from the website. Was going to take my own but the place was full and didn't want to post pictures of people without permission.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian option on menu. Never had any but sure it's delicious.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly. Many families go there with kids of all ages.Parking: Street parking so you may have to go a block or so to find parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Enterance is street level, bar is wide enough for wheelchair and so are toilets. Saturday nights can be crowded but I've seen everyone customer go out of their way to give chair access in.
