My late night sushi and rolls spot in the Bronx. I am forever excited for the experience and somehow want to always ask for extra wasabi. Yes, I love the burn. The menu is pretty simple and straight forward, the staff is delightful and happy. I have been going here for over 3 years and I always had a respectful and down to earth experience.Open up to an easy win here, order their spicy tuna roll and also the California roll. The rolls are so satisfying and also well packaged and have all the utensils you need and the dipping sauce.I am little extreme and add Ghost Pepper with my wasabi to my rolls, please don’t judge me, but the well made roll with my combo of hot sauce and wasabi I had the best tasting rolls ever. The atmosphere and ambience is cool, the coy fish and lucky cat and graphics are great here. This is one of my top 10 go to spots in the bronx. That’s its big thing to say. I would recommend and bring a friend. Takeout and late night hangout with a friend this is a good spot for enjoyment with cool people.

This is a small, but cozy Japanese restaurant with about 5 small tables. Overall, my friend and I enjoyed our meal. However, please note that the food is not authentic Japanese food, and is more of the california roll and teriyaki variety. With that in mind, it was very filling and tasty. They also have very reasonable prices. If you come during lunch time, they have a teriyaki bento box that comes with a california roll and rice and salad. Or, you can go for the hibachi special with your choice of protein with rice. Both come with a small soup as well and are only around $10-$11. We ending up having one of each. This is definitely a great deal for the amount and quality of food that you get.

Ordered from this establishment on Uber eats and was impressed by the quick delivery. The food however, was not very good. It tasted old. The chicken and shrimp were a little hard and it was like warm. Maybe it was the time of day, but probably won't be ordering from here again

Just OK Japanese food in the Bronx. Nestled in a residential neighborhood known for Italian food, it's a good option if you want something different. I was not willing to trust the sushi but the Katsu was good as were the tempura and fried rice.

Food was not made hibachi style. I ordered hibachi lunch and everything tasted like teriyaki. Not the same at all, very disappointing.

Ordered the gyudon. It looks unappealing and typical gyudon is made with thinly sliced brisket or fattier cuts of beef. They instead used pepper steak cuts and the food has absolutely no flavor. Worst gyudon I’ve ever had. Couldn’t even eat it.

I personally enjoyed everything about this place whenever i decided to stop by here to eat. Great food, the staff has always been very sweet, and the place may be on the smaller side but it is very nice, definitely on the nicer side compared to other places that like to stay small. Wonderful. Very good, especially their sushi. ^_^Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options available for SURE!Kid-friendliness: There are stuff that kids would enjoy on there. I didn’t see anything a kid wouldn’t enjoy (i mean obviously besides alcohol).Parking: You have to park on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: From what i last remember there were no stairs, just a door to enter through.Dietary restrictions: I have allergies. They never have a problem making sure my food was safe for me to consume.

I stopped in this afternoon for a late lunch and really enjoyed Kiraku Sushi. The restaurant is casual and very reasonably priced, and the salmon nigiri tasted fresh and buttery. The roll pictured is the Indiana roll with salmon skin inside and eel/avocado on top - very tasty. There is a homey, unassuming, neighborhood feel to the restaurant and it's not a bad place if you just want to go for lunch yourself! Friendly, attentive staff, too.

Food and atmosphere have been upgraded for the better. Nice spot to sit and eat.Tofu Teriyaki - Their Teriyaki sauce is still the best I've had. They should have more of it on the plate. The vegetables should've been hotter to match the temp of the Tofu.

Let's begin by the sushi bar, well the makeshift sushi bar. The prep person did NOT practice safety. Cross contamination everywhere. Same gloves to touch and prepare different customers food, yuk. Also, I ordered Ramen soup and it was NOT what we I expected. It was prepared with what appeared to be prepackaged ramen noodles from the packet. It had veggies that one will use for stir free. The incorrect beef and no egg. The worst experience every. Please skip this place. To add, it was 93 degrees outside and it felt like 80 degrees inside. The air conditioning was not cool at all. Over priced soup!

Spoiled zucchini in my hibachi steak lunch. It actually tasted sour. Do not recommend.

This small sushi spot is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is usually quiet and slow, as the restaurant appears to get a lot of their business through food delivery apps and there is usually only one server working.I visit often and have tried a variety of items from the menu (sushi rolls, appetizers, noodle/rice dishes, lunch specials, bento boxes, etc.) I am not a fan of their teriyaki dishes, but they make very good sushi rolls! The prices are also very reasonable, especially for the lunch special.
