Great food (tacos and tamales are amazing! So is the Molcajete) friendly and patient staff, and great cause. Will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu.

Absolutely delicious Oaxacan food. I've always wanted to visit Oaxaca and this place definitely gave us a taste of what it will be like. The restaurant is small with a few tables but it wasn't crowded when we went for lunch on a holiday Monday. My boyfriend and I shared the mole poblano, mole oaxaqueño, and molcajete. The mole dishes came with rice, beans, and warm tortilla and I also got a small horchata. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, bursting with flavor with every bite. Nothing was too spicy but if you like sweeter things, I would highly recommend the mole poblano.

The food here is Delicious. Guacamole was Delicious. The Gentleman serving us was wonderful. He saw that my Mom, who has Dementia, was a little confused about how to eat her food, Tacos, and she didn't really like her drink. For her it was too sweet, without asking he gave her water and served her something easier for her to eat. Very, very kind and attentive. Will Definitely return.

I had amazing chile rellenos with white mole and a jícama agua fresca. It was delicious. I loved the fresh tortillas, fluffy rice and yummy salsitas. This is unlike other restaurants though. This place has a great community vibe. They've combined advocacy and hospitality and it's working!

This Oaxacan spot has been on my list for a while and I was finally able to get up here. Not easy as they’re only open on weekdays and close at 5pm. It was well worth it though. Super friendly service and awesome food. They offer not just one but a variety of different moles. I got the less common Oaxaqueno mole and chicken which was a warming blend of seven chiles with a nice kick, perfect for a winter day. Served with rice, beans, and corn tortillas - all well prepared - it was a delicious and filling lunch.

La Morada catered an event that my work was hosting and it was a wonderful experience. The entire La Morada team when above and beyond- when I originally reached out to them about catering I didn't realize that they were closed on Saturdays (which was the day of our event). They came in to cook on a Saturday morning to help us out. Everything was packaged perfectly and transported very well. We had multiple food allergies and they labeled everything/accommodated all of the allergies (lactose, raw carrots, nuts, etc.). Everybody that attended our event loved the food. Thank you so much Marco and team.

A very humble spot with good service and very good food.We did not wait long for our food and it tasted authentic and flavourful. They are helping refugees by giving free food to whoever is in need. This is amazing these days and you don't see that often enough. Please go, eat, and support those in need.Thank you for your hospitality and support of the community.
