The service for me today was terrible. I spent almost $50 and my order was wrong. I ordered an 8 piece meal and a spicy chicken sandwich and a mac n cheese. They gave me 2 fries and no chicken sandwich when I got home the order was completely wrong because the one taking the order and was pre occupied and didn't even know English.

I ordered a 4 piece chicken special and arrived home to only find 3 pieces in the box. I asked for a full cup of ice with my special and only received half cup. And to make matters worse I found a piece of hair in my food. Disgusting ?

BUYER BEWARE!!!!I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the manager named Mya, at the Popeye's Chicken located at 1380 Jerome Ave, Bronx, NY 10452 (Store# 12788). The prices charged on my receipt were higher than what was listed on the overhead menu. When I inquired about this discrepancy with the manager, she became annoyed and belligerent. She claimed that the taxes were added to the items, but the taxes were clearly listed as a separate line on the receipt for slightly more than $1; far too low for the items purchased.When I asked her to run the two items through the register again, she raised her voice and said "it's more now!" She then accused me of calling her a liar and attempted to extort more money from me, even when I showed her my proof of purchase. She refused to honor the payment that was already made in good faith and would not allow the workers to give me my purchased order.This is unacceptable behavior and a clear violation of the rules of commerce. I am concerned that this may be an ongoing practice and that this business may be intentionally defrauding the IRS by reporting lower sales tax than what they have actually collected. This was my first and will be my last, time patronizing this restaurant. Unfortunately, my $50 order was missing food; then after explaining what happened, an employee accused me of lying. Although the manager corrected it, this should NOT be how errors or complaints are handled by a business. I understand people lie and you can't make a habit of giving away free food, but if it's busy and you have too few staff to handle your busy hours, hire more people so that quality and service is consistent.
I order often with doordash and most of their orders come in like they ain't even cooked. raw chicken. they don't pick up the phone. one star. don't recommend.

This was my first time and last time going to this location and I must say I was disappointed as walking in as a customer there are no order here signs as well as the staff don’t greet you to let you know that you Order at that line.. on top of that the women staff was very rude and holding conversations while getting my order prepared! Ordered 2 spicy sandwich combo meals and the sandwiches weren’t even spicy sandwiches! They weren’t even hot, lukewarm! Horrible customer service, food wasn’t good not fresh or hot, I would go to another Popeyes location, waste of money!

The place is filled with Indian employees who are rude to the people from the neighborhood that support their business every time I have to go there it's a problem with female employees they are super rude and I will never go back they chicken sandwiches are pre made and not fresh and lukewarm at best.
