TLDR: Though slightly on the pricier side, the combination of elegant decor, great service, and attention-to-detail food will make every visit worth the cost. If you are looking for a nice dinner spot, you can't go wrong with Sofra

The service was excellent. The food was ok, however it was a little bit greasy.

The saganaki was good but the chicken paidakia was literally plain grilled chicken over plain french fries with ketchup. No sauce or anything, and the chicken was dry and overcooked. I could have gotten the same (or probably better) at a regular diner for half the price. Also, I was charged 6$ for water.

I had heard good things about this place so I figure why not?! When I walked in, it was empty and that's when I should've known it would've been ehh. Menu was super limited and basic considering their prices. To top it off, I noticed they over charged my cc - Crooks. Thanks for opening my eyes though bc I won't be going back there again. Definitely double check your bank statement days later.

Love this hidden gem! I usually get take out but last night decided to dine in. The place was empty. Especially for a Saturday night. But the food did NOT disappoint. Fantastic as always!! Started with grilled calamari and a glass of Pinot. For an entree I had the branzino with a size of lemon potatoes and side salad. Totally amazing! And prices are fair for the quality of food. Can't wait to return! Will try one of the pasta dishes.

The food was very good. The service was also the same. Maybe bc the restaurant was empty except for us. Free parking is available along the store front. The waitress had a very strong BO that was unpleasant.

Wonderful, consistent food we ordered the Bronzino twice now and both times it was as delicious. Fresh and cooked perfectly - tried their salad as well very good and will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Sensational!!!

Priceless Love

Absolutely LOVE this place! The lemon Potatoes & the Hummus & Tzatziki dip board are delicious! There is a great variety of salads as well. The Cabernet Sauvignon is also really good. I also recently discovered that they do have dessert if you ask. When I went with my family recently, our waitress, Julie, was very warm and personable. She made our experience all the more special. I definitely recommend coming here :)

The food delivered to us was completely wrong, cold and distasteful. We had two dinners and the order was about $85, with a shameful presentation and no flavor. My boyfriend is Albanian and I am American Greek and we were excited to taste the food being that Sofra advertises Greek and Albanian food. Unfortunately we both were so disappointed. If your looking for good middle eastern dishes I suggest Cakor on Belmont Ave, Gurra Cafe, Cka ka quello and for "to go orders" Balkan place on Lydig. Greek food with good service and dining head over to Astoria, Queens.

So great...so good... so full. The prices yes. The food yes. The atmosphere yes. The wine pour meh... the wine yes. I'd give 5 stars if not for the poor pour, but everything else was wonderful. My friend and I had a blast. It wasn't too loud and the service was excellent. She had the Albanian burger and I had the gyro. Super good, and great portions. I'm going again.

Honestly it's only 3 stars for that bomb a** pita bread otherwise I'd give it a one. The lamb was extremely over cooked and not cut properly which probably was why it was also extremely difficult to chew and it had absolutely zero seasoning. Also do not absolutely do not under any circumstances get the calamari it's dreadful.
