My favorite place to get a beer before or after a Yankee game. I have been coming here for years and I have never had a bad experience. The bartenders are extremely friendly

Sports bar located in Concourse Village in southwest Bronx, 300 meters from Yankee Stadium. It's a popular place to gather before New York Yankees home games, where fans can eat and drink before heading to the stadium or they can watch the game on the many screens. Its address is 836 River Avenue Bronx in New York.

If you are a Yankee fan, this is a popular pre and post game hangout. I was with a large group and we couldn't get inside. But we did get a small table outside, and most of us hung around the sidewalk where servers got drinks. We did not order any food.

This is THE place to pregame for the Yankees. We had such a great time here. Decently priced drinks, great music, great people watching. All of it was the perfect start to watching the Yankees play some ball. Coming back for sure.

Such an awesome place to visit before or after a game, place is always popping with awesome vibes. Something sus though, went 3 days in a row after ball games (Fri-Sun) and paid 3 different prices for the same drinks......??? Curious about actual drink prices....

Even as a visiting O’s fan we were welcomed by the staff, very friendly. The beer was cold and just right for drinking. Will go again to watch the Orioles crush the Yanks. Go O’s!

This place is an institution that is worth experiencing at least once. We went on a typical Yankees game Saturday afternoon and it was as crowded as expected. However, we were able to quickly get drinks at the bar several times. We were also able to find a place to sit outside. Of course, if the Yankees were playing better or it was near playoff time the situation would probably be a lot different. But I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit and will go back. It is quite literally on the way from the subway station and metro north so, give yourself a few minutes to check it out. It's worth it.Note: we did not eat food so no review of that

Easily the best bar for any circumstance around Yankee Stadium... top notch service and the owners really care about the experience. Won't find me anywhere else before or after a
Came here before a Yankee game and the place was rocking. Really fun place to be. Ok a standard beer was $10 but service was fast, friendly and the beers on ice. Got wings and they tasted pretty good. Couple of beers and wings, all set for the big game. Check it out.

By far the only bar you need to come to in the Bronx before and after a Yankee game. Everyone is friendly. Staff is on point and hard working. Operational masterpiece.

Stan’s is the place to go if you are heading to a ball game at yankee stadium or otherwise find yourself in the south Bronx. For example, once upon a time (pre-covid) I had a court appearance at Bronx supreme and afterwords I went to Stan’s to hang as I waited for the game that evening. The yankee memorabilia that encompasses the establishment is second to none. It is, to say, a shrine to those 27 time champions, from the murals on the back wall to the photos plastered in the bar top. As a life long yankee fan it’s too good to be true, a heaven on earth. Stan’s is Eden in the Bronx. The bathroom situation is not ideal but the wade Boggs chicken sandwich is worth the price 2x. Service is extremely good despite the extreme pre and post game crowds. Now since covid featuring an outdoor street cafe…. Across from the real house that Ruth built….with iced cold beer!
