Love the food here! Definitely worth the wait. I recommend the guacamole with mango and the strawberry lemonade. It does get pretty busy on the weekend so if you are in a rush come on a weekday instead! However if you are having a chill weekend definitely dine in and get a molcajete with the green sauce. The presentation is beautiful. Shout to the servers, cooks, and delivery guys for all their hard work.Vegetarian options: Most of their dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan. The rice and beans is animal product free!

This is the only restaurant il ever go to for Mexican food. When friends or family ask what’s a good spot to eat at this is my top recommendation for a very good reason. From dine in, to take out, to catering, the meals consistently left me impressed and there’s no better place to dine at.The food was always perfect and I’ve got nothing but wonderful things to say about Taqueria Tlaxcalli.

Terrible service. They messed up my order and refused to take responsibility, then when I persisted to have them replace the order they asked for me to return the original half eaten order in order first. This is a clear health violation and is not a okay anywhere else in America. What a shame.Owner replied to review claiming I ate half the order, which is a lie! I did not bring the wrong food back, because no where in America would that be expected in a restaurant in order for them to correct my meal. Instead they are claiming that their customer is lying and demanding more food, which only cost $15. This just proves how bad the customer service is and how cheap the owner is. Why would anyone bring back in a order, which was only a few bites before realizing it was wrong the order.Operators of the restaurant are proving they are unprofessional and cheap, and accusing that customers want to get over. Please look at the reply to this review to see exactly how ridiculous the restaurant sounds. They have plenty of other reviews on here noting the rudeness of the workers.

This place right here is IT!!! The burritos, the tacos, the nachos, the grilled chicken & veggies. It’s incredibly delicious. Burritos are huge and literally & figuratively PACKED with flavor. Hard shell tacos are so yummy. Beware of their chipotle sauce—it’s kickass! This place has great reviews in Zagats too. Pricing is a little high but food is expensive. Parking sucks in this area but I would not pass it up. Dining in is tight but fast service & cute little atmosphere. Other than that, it’s def worth the try & you will go back!!
As advertised, one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Bronx. Portions are generous, staff is super friendly and present. I would recommend the tacos for sure but the enchiladas de mole is hard to beat.

It’s been a few months since I discovered this little Mexican gem in the middle of a Bangladesh neighborhood. I come to the Bronx every Friday for work and most of the time I order from here. I’m Latina and was happily surprised to have this place right my be. Food is delicious and ladies are nice! I love the gorditas and quesadillas, I gotta and will try more stuff ! They deserve a nice review !
